So we know some Forerunner, 100,000 years after the fall of the ecumene, is still searching for it. From that I guess its some kind of unique construct with unique abilities, perhaps a safe haven in slipspace? The Forerunner talked a lot about casual reconciliation, which is a key term in Slipspace terminology.
What do you think? Since this bit about Bastion was only hinted in intel which did not have to be found to advance in Halo 5, I guess it won’t be a major part of the Halo plot for some time. Thoughts?

Anywho, I thought Bastion had more to do with the Domain, but I could be wrong. I hope he pops up somewhere in H6.
Cut content revealed Bastion was going to be a Shield World. Don’t know about now but it’s likely a planet-sized construct capable of slipspace mobility which isn’t unique considering a lot of Forerunner constructs can do that.
