Hello!!! it has been while since i took a break from halo as a whole and i just recently started getting re-acquainted. Any wayz onto the point… When i think back there are few things that i am wondering about. The first was, what ever happened to the skirmishers?? I am pretty sure bungie said that there’s a reason that they are not in the past games and in REACH you screw them over some how. I cannot really find my source cause this was ages ago before the game came out. All i remember was an interview with someone from bungie saying so. I was also wondering did anyone ever find a legendary ending to the game? similar to the first question i also heard from an interview that the would be a legendary ending, but there wasn’t one. Does anyone have any information concerning the topics???
As for the ending, if you hold both look + movement sticks to the right you get a lil cut-scence-like-thingy, but that’s old news.
The Skirmishers more or less went extinct after the battle of Reach. Which is why you don’t see them again in the trilogy.
As for the Legendary ending for Reach? It’s in the game. You play it actually.
Lone Wolf takes place post credits and it’s the final mission with epilogue that closes the game.
Something most won’t remember is that for this part, it was originally intended to have an eagle would be be on top of Noble Six’s helmet and fly off if you finished the game on Legendary. This feature however, was cut.
I hate that they cut that
I’m surprised the skirmishers went extinct since they seem to be more headshot-immune than before >.>

This i noticed even in single player Campaign. Funky hitboxes and inconsistent bloom is a bad mix :P. This is most notable on the ones who use wrist shields.
Another thing i noticed is that while in the caves with the drones (on PoA), there are about 3 or 4 Skirmishers with the wrist shields using Needle Rifles. You don’t see this again in FF or any where else in the game.

Yeah, they had some weird hitboxes but since NEP came out, this seems to occur more often. Don’t get me wrong, I love the NEP playlist (Though the Heretics need to leave Limited), but the skirmishers seems to be more resilient than before. It may be a programming error or maybe my aim’s just off XD

Since they move so fast, i say it’s the aim, hitboxes, bloom, and lag (FF tends to lag more often than regular MM). It’s annoying to headshot a Skirmisher only to have it flinch, take damage, and not die +.+.
