Back when they were first advertising H5 they talked about a live action tv show for Halo that was going to be coming along with H5. What ever happened to that?

The show is still in development per Frankie on Neogaf. The issue seems to be the contract with Showtime.
Why does it seem so hard to get this franchise in live action more often…
There have been a few threads about this in this forum already, give the general discussion forum a look around sometime. This was the last news we have heard about the show. I think the show is still in the pre-production phase (The script probably isn’t finished and the actors haven’t been casted), so a lot of work is still necessary before we see anything tangible. I hope the show doesn’t get stuck in production limbo like the film.

Probably not going to happen at all if they are still in that phase of it.
