What ever happened to the elephant?

The elephant by far had to be one of the most ridicules and fun vehicles halo has ever had. The amount of stuff you could do wth it was hilarious! You could use it as a mobile command centre to drop of vehicles to other players, you could use it as a mobile flag stand and run from the other elephant, you could use it as a flying mothership back when the hornet was still around, you could glitch it onto the sand dunes and use it to drive over the mines, you could’ve it to hump the second elephant, who could forget “hold RB to…wait…what?..how did you do that?”

Out of every vehicle halo has ever had the elephant has to be the most underrated one of them all. Imagine having one in warzone or forge. If 343 ever read this please consider putting it back in halo!

They replaced it with the mammoth. I think that they should add the mammoth into the forge.

It devolved into a Mammoth :stuck_out_tongue: but seriously, I loved it but it would only have uses in forge and maybe Warzone as a mobile armory, and the mammoth is a tad to big for a drivable vehicle in forge, maybe as a prop?

Amazing how far in the future Halo is and yet, their tanks move at a Snail’s pace. Then there is the Elephant, or should a say Sloth, which I hope wasn’t Canon for UNSC’s sake

I believe if there is any chance something could be in forge it should be there even if it breaks the game or the “immersion”.

Wouldn’t it be kinda cool to have maybe a bigger Mammoth as a map? Lol

it is canon, it was must faster in halo wars than it was in 3. the exchange for being slower than a wraith was that it had severely durrable armor plating and had like 5 different turret attachments for spartans to use (in halo wars it had a giant gatling gun on the top and unfolding turrets when it was in lockdown). it was meant as a mobile base.

I’d trade this over firefight.

The world may never know

I would make it my home out on the battlefield.

Whoa whoa lets slow the roll there.

Why not both? It would be fairly interesting to spawn an elephant and ram it straight into mythic warden.

They were poached man.

It lives on in legend and in tales, but one day, it will return in Warzone… probably not, but that would be hilarious

slam? lightly nudge maybe lol

A bigger sandtrap with mammoths for warzone. Would finally make for interesting warzone bases.

Definitely not questioning the armor lol, but I’d just expect something so open and slow would defeat the purpose of Armor. Aerial fire would be its bane wouldn’t it?

I like Mammoth more.
