What ever happened to pre and end game lobbies..?

If you ever played halo 3 or reach you know pre game lobbies were always a good time for trash talk and checking out other players armor, stats, emblem, fileshares etc. If I’m going to spend days grinding through this trash battlepass then I’d appreciate if we actually had the opportunity to show it off more than just the brief few seconds players will see you in a firefight.

Oh and if BTB could be fixed so when you go into a game with friends it actually keeps you in the same squad that’d be great…

I miss those too.
I guess 343i wants to cut out all the trash talking because of the puritanical game ‘journalists’ and Twitter crows who don’t play/watch/buy the content they complain about.
ATM you can’t even text message the other team like you can in MCC.

They most likely kept them out so people wouldn’t get offended by the trash talk.

I do miss chat with the enemy. I didnt even encounter as much toxicity with the other team as I did with my own

I also don’t get why I’m stuck with an in-game chat with my 4 person squad in BTB instead of the whole team.

Yeah I remember those lobbies. Also a great place for a random 14 year old to scream the N word over and over. I don’t miss them.

Well, they don’t want people trash talking because they feel we’re in need of being coddled.

I think pregame lobbies or some form of warmup period before Ranked would go a long way to preventing disconnects and 3v4’s
