Remember when the hype for that helmet was huge? Especially around the time shortly after CEA came out, as 343i had hidden GRD easter eggs in each of the maps. This helmet is obviously something deliberate, and 343i definitely knows about it.
Have people just forgotten, or have they just stopped caring? I personally think it’s something very mysterious, and is being kept quiet for very long. It’s not in the game’s code, as hackers haven’t found it yet, but it has been seen in pictures and videos of IGN, 343i, and Bungie.
So what’s the deal? Will 343i give this helmet to us as a gift when Halo 4 comes out, or will it forever be locked in the vaults of secrecy? Why has something like this been kept quiet for so long?
