I’ll be honest I kind of skipped H5 but I recently was playing infinite and I went to go change my emblem like I used to do in H3 to try to make cool designs and I just didn’t have the options like I did before such as toggling different parts of the emblem and changing the colors.
When did this become a thing and what was the reasoning.
I used to love doing cool things like use the anchor and the triangle background to make a mountain with a river flowing down it

Halo 5 also had preset emblems but you could at least change the colors you wanted yourself. Infinite just threw personal choice out the window.
I know, not being able to customise does suck.
I’m not great at it but even the simple things like tirning off parts of the emblem I liked, liked removing the horns from the Spartan helmet.
Bungie put in all this work to evolve each game and how to customise, only for 343i to say “meh, cant be bothered” and dumb it down again.
At least they still have my skull king emblem. Shame you can’t customise anything about it though. 
I always used a grunt wearing a cowboy hat and that’s just not here. Kinda disappointed in that but I’m sure that’ll pop up in a future battlepass or the store
