What Events In Halo: Primordium Tie Into The Events In Halo 4?

I just orderd the book Halo: Primordium and Halo:Glasslands, and Im pretty exited to see how thease storys tie in to Halo 4. Does anyone who has read thease books know about how they are all tied together (besieds the obvious answers)?

no posts yet?

you should have ordered Halo: Cryptum as well…and to answer your question, to me Primordium does.

Halo Glasslands reveals (SPOILERS) the covenant war really isnt over while primordium kinda tells us who our ancient enemy is

Must… stifle… criticisms.

The Covenant war is over, because there is no Covenant left. There is still war, however.

Well 343i isn’t Bungie, and is trying to tie all of the stories into one story ark so every thing makes sense, so I would have to say that most events in those books released by 343i will in fact tie in some how with Halo 4’s story, but it’s still early to say what, we’re still in the dark.

I remember hearing at the Halo 4 panel during Halo Fest, Frank O’Connor said that everything that is explained in those books and I mean everything will be tied somehow into Halo 4 and future Halo games for the Reclaimer trilogy. Sooo basically everything you read, say to yourself, “Huh, cool that will be explained in Halo 4.” :stuck_out_tongue:

I think that’s one of the problems with the new Halo era. Bungie always placed greater emphasis on compelling rather than cohesive stories; they left a lot of things unexplained, and the mystery was what made the fiction so intriguing. 343’s attempt to elucidate the mythology, while noble, is–I feel–actually detracting from it. They seem to be operating under the assumption that every element of the Halo universe needs to be painstakingly expounded upon and accounted for. Their newfound obsession with the Master Chief’s past is one example of this (albeit one that will no doubt earn me some retaliatory recriminations).

The war is over. It’s just some Elites don’t like humans and ONI have turned into a bunch of brain-dead -Yoinks!-, who think arming said Elites to take out the Arbiter is a good idea.
