i think would be cool to have a old sanghieli in the style of h4/h5 singing like the grunt from h5 except instead of dying it fights back and when killed gives elite birthday party school

I feel like there should be an achievement for carrying a skull through the whole campaign, maybe on laso? The achievement name would be something like “Grifball For Life”
You find YapYap The Destroyer and fight him as hordes of grunts assist him. (hidden mini-boss) If you win, you unlock the YapYap skull which lets you play as YapYap in campaign.

What might make it harder could be a weird way to obtain the skull, like hit this switch with a secret gravity hammer, or flip the lever with a hidden energy sword, etc.
I’d love to see out of bounds areas contain secrets like Halo 2. On delta halo, going way out around the lake was awesome, even though there was only one secret. It still felt like they let you explore even though it was a linear game.
Some others:
-Depending on the art choice, a secret room with a throwback to old designs
-Collectibles (these could be found in Halo 2A)
-Skulls that aren’t insanely difficult to find (H5 was absolutely insane for some of these)
-Hidden buttons that reveal secret areas
-Minigames in campaign
-Return of BLAST soda cans?!
In Halo 5 you have that screen at the beginning of every level where (in multiplayer) you choose which Spartan to play as and they have a different loadout / HUD / unique lines.
I’d love a new skull which you can enable that would allow you to select non-canon Spartans for those missions. For instance the equivalent of playing as chief in an H2 arbiter mission. I’m hoping for an appearance of red team, and I’d love the ability to play through a full halo campaign but with an alternate take on all the missions and alternate dialogue from Jerome & Isabel taking the place of John & Cortana for instance. A sort of “What if” skull.
