What each Halo was known for

I want this to be a respected and no hateful speeches on 343 games like 5 and 4 and want this to be what each game is known for. Halo MCC will not be part of this for only a game that is a bundles of games and anniversary Halo’s do not count.

CE- Reach: gritty mil-sim with stories that drew influence from greek epics and mythos and marines that would crack wise even in the most deadliest firefights (Chips Dubbo, Stacker, Johnson) . This gave the universe a darker and edgier feel and offered some pretty funny military humor and frankly what Halo writing really should be… not to mention the focus on vehicular-combat of which we have kind of strayed for a arena style.
4-5: We’re just going to draw influence from comics and writers and make everything brighter, less gritty and less sleek and practical.

5 is still pretty good though…for being incomplete at launch. Just wish the stories characters had more substance and they focused the hunt the truth campaign instead of the Cortana back from the grave lowball.

I think that’s right for each game.

CE: Re-inventing the FPS and creating modern elements which make a console FPS work.
2: The First console game to ever have a proper friends and matchmaking system. Basically invented modern Xbox live
3: Brought map editing an Minigames to a whole new market.
Wars: Evidence that the RTS genre works on console. Most successful console RTS.
ODST: Explored the Halo universe more making Halo fans more interested in lore and making Halo a competitor to lore based games.
Reach: Armor Lock
4: Showed fans dedication to franchise, doing everything possible to keep the game alive.
Mobile Spinoffs: Explored into a new genre and platform.
CE:A: Started a new trend in remaking old games and getting lots of money from them (Gears, Fable, Rare, Uncharted, MCC etc)
5: Modernising the franchise and setting new standards for console microtransaction based AAA games.
