Halo 2 Anniversary? That would be the most obvious explanation… but things might be hidde in it.

I highly doubt it means a Halo 2 Anniversary.
It is most likely just explaining how the heretic learned about the truth of the Great Journey.

I don’t really see how it hints to Halo 2 Anniversary, though I wouldn’t complain if they did make one.

However, like others have said in this thread, it is merely a way to explain how the heretics knew about Halo’s true purpose.

Did we really need that explained, though? I mean, I seem to recall we knew Spark survived CE, and in 2 he turns up with the heretics around the area where Halo exploded. A -> B is not a long trip here.

Helps bridge the gap between H:CE and Halo 2, not much else in my opinion.
