I’ve tried using the laser targeter (high level weapon attachment that boosts “Accuracy”) on the various weapons in warzone and I haven’t seen much, if any difference. With the Battle rifle I’ve seen no difference what so ever, and with the SMG and AR the only difference I see is that it takes 2 or 3 extra bullets to reach its max bullet spread. But the effect I notice is so small I think it might be the placebo effect, where I think it makes a difference in an area, when it actually doesn’t.
I have it on the snetinel BR and I don’t see much difference either
As I have not used it I cannot comment. It may just be for “hip” fire
I think it reduces spread. I have a hologram smg with laser and it is a beast, it kills so fast its not fair.
wait, so the various weapon “add-ons” actually have effects?! i just figured they were snazzy weapon skins or something like that…
I haven’t noticed any significant difference in them, but I equip them just in case. The silencer should be a more noticeable effect, but I can’t think of a way to test it.

Stabilization jets reduce spread, laser I’m not sure. It’s supposed to increase starting accuracy, as in the reticule size before you start firing but the difference I have noticed is negligable
If it’s anything like the Laser attachment in CoD, it’ll reduce hip-fire spread.

Didn’t stabilization jets reduce recoil? I’m pretty confident stabilization jets make it so your reticule doesn’t move up with the recoil and laser reduces spread.
The laser negates crosshair vertical rise, at least in hip-fire. Stabilization jets does the same thing. Jets work when looking through the scope, haven’t used laser in a while but I think it does too. The major difference between the two is with the battle rifle. They both negate crosshair rise but the jets has no spread so the entire three-round burst goes into one bullet hole.
Accuracy, in video games, almost always regers to the consistency of where your shots will land in relation to your reticule. The reticule’s size, by proxy, changes accuracy, but Accuracy is always relative to that specific weapon’s reticule.
For example, let’s take the Battle Rifle. It doesn’t have any reticule bloom, which makes it unique from the other loadout weapons. A BR with high Accuracy will consistently have shots land in the center of the reticule; one with low accuracy will have shots landing around the center, but not always in the center.
On weapons with bloom, Accuracy affects the rate that the reticule increases in size, as opposed to Stability, which refers to how much the weapon kicks, or moves from the initial viewpoint.
Jet reduces recoil which is the push-back motion the weapon gets when firing it. On the other hand, Laser reduces bullet spread, how much the bullets will vary. Assume your weapon does not have a laser, but it projects a small circle, which is where any of the shots can go. When you fire, it grows. The laser pointer tightens this circle up and slows down the rate it grows, which is not useful on a BR or DMR, as it resets after every shot.

Nah, laser does not eliminate vertical rise. I have a BR with jet stabilizators, it’s awesome. I also have an SMG with Jets, it’s awesome as well. My Sentinel Longshot BR has vertical rise, and it’s equipped with laser.
I might be wrong but, I thought they said that Halo5 had no difference between standard view and smart-link, just slightly zoomed in. So hip-fire doesn’t play a role in accuracy. I agree that it should keep the shot grouping tighter for longer, but I rarely use it so I cant really tell.

Where have you been for the past five months? You’ve never encountered an energy bayonet and killed with full shields?

It doesn’t. SMG and AR had a slight accuracy increase in the beta but it was removed.
I’ve picked up weapons in Warzone before with the laser attachment, and the only use I see for the laser attachment is for increased hip-fire accuracy.
It increases accuracy and I can tell because my SMG with it feels controlled instead of -Yoink!- into the wind. If it’s not actually very helpful, it’s still a hell of a placebo effect.
Yeah same here I don’t see any difference with the guns except for the looks.
Laser Sights increase accuracy when fired with “SMART LINK” (by reducing spread)
So not every weapon will benefit from it. Just automatic weapons.
Stabilizer Jets increase accuracy overall (by reducing recoil)
So every weapon benefits.

That would be lame lol, having a silencer that does nothing
