When you say January, do you mean that the ranking system will be released January 1, 31, or in fact Febuary? January is a very vague deadline, and I think we as a community deserve some transparency, seeing as the ranking system is the single most important factor in determining the daily unique population of halo 4.

They dont know yet. They’re still fixing things for a huge TU, with a ton of playlists and changes.

TMAC, custom games have been dead to me since Halo 2.
January is intentionally vague because they don’t know exactly when it will be up. If they had an exact date, they would tell us. They are being as transparent as they can be. MUCH more informative than Bungie was, what with all their secrets and simply saying that something was coming “Soon.”
In fact, they really have only said “Early 2013” so that could be Mid March for all we know. When they know, we’ll know.
How is a ranking system the “single most important factor in determining the daily unique population of halo 4”? I believe the ONLY factor that determines the daily unique population is…how many unique users there are…since there isn’t a ranking system now and there are plenty of unique users…

So are you playing Halo 2? That’s fine if you don’t like customs since then.
