Hey y’all, Vampyre0422 here! ok I know that everyone supposedly knows that FOTUS means fist of the unicorn… then people point out that it is Fist of the unicorn skin. but ever since I saw some one point out a slight connection with the Helmet on the Forerunner in the foreground of this picture and Our FOTUS helmet. I am having second thoughts. I know that the connection is vague, but I do not think FOTUS means Fist Of The Unicorn. because where is the word that starts with an “s”?? and I do not think it is Fist Of The Unicorn Skin. Because that implies strictly a skin when FOTUS is an armor, as well as a skin (as far as I am aware)
So I am starting to think that this helmet is actually forerunner related. that being said, what do you all really think that FOTUS means?
I personally got nothin’, but I wanna see what you all think it would be if it really is forerunner related.
I honestly can’t see the resemblance between the two photos. Except the fact that they both have horns, they look nothing a like.
That being said, I definitely think that FOTUS armour is forerunner influenced. Probably why you get an LR skin and Crawler prop exclusively with it.
Fists Of The Unicorn Skin is probably correct too (You get the unicorn emblem). ‘Skin’ meaning a secondary skin (armour), not actual armour/weapon skins.

i did say that the resemblance was vague in my OP.
and i am just saying IF it wasnt related to unicorns, what do you think it would be? (basically would would you name it using that acronym)
and ok i guess that makes a bit more sense… but still seems like a stretch to me.

I am NOT going to wear it just because EVERYONE is gonna be wearing it. i wouldn’t feel unique among the spartans… besides i think i like soldier best at the moment.

Really though, I never understood why the two were so far apart.

That would make sense seeing as how it looks like a promethean knights helmet with one of the spikes from a knight lancer’s back and they said lancers use promethean vision in the official descriptions of all of the promethean enemies and weapons they released in that video.
