In all honesty, the main thing I really wanted to see in Halo 4 was Kilo Five. The closest thing I got to that was the Spartan Ops Episode 8 episode which was why I was flipping out like a headshotted grunt.
In Multiplayer, I really thought the Mammoth was going to be there on a map for at least decoration.
This is not a hate post and I really would like to see what you guys wish was in Halo 4, I already know what most people will say the Competitive Ranking System and Classic Playlist. This Assassin already feels your pain.
Also surprise me, I’d be shocked to see anyone miss Armor Lock and why?
I wont lie, I do miss the Covenant talking in Halo, it really isn’t the same. like the change was so sudden too in Reach. In Halo 4 I thought the Grunts spoke some English.
-Massive Campaign easter egg hunts spawning hundred of pages.
-Fully functioning skulls. IWHBYD doesn’t seem to change the dialogue. Catch doesn’t turn enemies into grenade spamming freaks on Easy difficulty. I like how Thunderstorm increases fuel rod gun spawning on Requiem but most of the skulls seem dumbed down. Does Tough Luck even affect Grunt kamikaze behavior?
-Some of Halo 3’s equipment. I liked the deployable cover, gravity lift, and invincibility. Very useful/versatile in Campaign
-Hologram display for Armor Abilities. This was a nice thing to have in Reach. Why is it gone in Halo 4? It’s harder to find them not to mention identify them. Also, there’s no more pick up messages for Armor Abilities.
-Armor ability variety (appearance-wise). I liked how the Jetpack actually looked like a jetpack and how Active Camo in Episode 8 CGI cinematic was in it’s compact form.
-More marine variety. I liked how the marines in Halo 3 could come with a backpack, goggles, etc. I especially liked how the marines in the trilogy weren’t always one or two skin color (only the Halo 3 pilots were always black. Everyone else varied).
-More enemy variety. I liked how the Elites in CE could spawn with a squid shaped helmet. I liked how the Elites in Halo 2 had secondary colors. I liked how the Elites in Halo 3 had different shades of color. And I especially loved how the Elites in CE behaved distinctly.

-I also wanted to see Kilo-Five somewhere in Halo 4. That would’ve been awesome, but it makes sense that they aren’t in it anywhere. When Osman showed up, I started geeking out!
I have other hopes as well, but that’s for all of the Reclaimer Trilogy!

Halo: Reach had the most variety I’ve seen in the UNSC troops that I have ever seen in the Halo series it’s down right ridiculous that we don’t see that kind of impact put into future Halo games.
I really wish that the ODST’s were in Halo 4 with all their pure bad assness but I think 343i is now focusing more on the Spartan 4s. Also I wish there was a new map sort of like sandtrap, not in technically being similar in design or looks but where the mammoths are drivable(since they seem like the replacement to the elephant) and where the success of your team is based around controlling the mammoths just like in sandtrap.
