So here is what 343i said they are going to fix within the next two weeks:
• Reduced the range of the Boltshot’s damage scaling over distance. The previous effective range for 1-hit kills was 20’-25’. The range has been reduced to 15’.
• Fixed an issue that did not allow players to create respawn timers or disable instant respawn in custom games.
• Fixed issues with friendly fire against vehicles. If FF is disabled, damage / EMPs from friendly sources will no longer damage vehicles that are fully controlled by your team.
However, we all know this does not fix all of our problems. So I was wondering, what else do you want to see fixed for the next TU? I think they should fix the DMR damage, laggy servers, zoom in forge mode, add regular infection, fix active camo crouch glitch,… these are just a few off the top of my head. What do you guys want to see fixed next time?
It’d be nice to see some of the hidden, 343i-only Custom Game options get migrated into the UI, for us to use. Looking at gametypes like Flood, we can see that 343i can disable Weapons on Map, Grenades on Map, and Sprinting, and they can set a Forced Color – among other features. Currently, we can’t do any of that.
Side note:
Bear in mind that the TU is not limited to those listed items. That list was a very abbreviated summary, and purposefully did not mention exploits or certain bugs, as 343i doesn’t want to spread awareness and use of those exploits. :\

Games are not hosted on servers. Each match is hosted on one of its players’ consoles.

This would be fixed using gametype scripting, not a Title Update.

This is an exploit that the current TU may fix.
I’m hoping they will remove flinch and add descoping. This would make maps such as Complex or Ragnarok much better and I might actually play Big Team Battle if they do.
Here is other things they should do.
Decrease the charge time for the spartan laser
Make active camo users visible if outside radar range
Increase Promethean vision duration but make it so it can see through only one wall in a very short range
Remove lock on from the plasma pistol to make more precision EMP shots
Increase the concussion rifle’s damage
Balance out certain maps such as Adrift and Exile

Add more game types. Where is my 1-flag, Assault, Race, Juggernaut, ViP, Infection (not Flood)?
Even though I dont really have too many big problems with H4 there are a few small things Id like to see.
Not a damage nerf on DMR but a small ROF reduction.
Red Xs on map to mark the death of team mates for games without radar.
I would really enjoy seeing Rocket Race in an Action Sack playlist.

They can’t really go back to de-scoping since there is an armor ability dedicated to flinch, which just sucks, I don’t know anyone who uses that or even likes flinch.
DMR nerf, you might want be specific. They can’t reduce damage, they can’t lower the fire rate. All I can see them doing to make it somewhat balanced is add bloom, or actual noticeable bloom. At the moment you shoot, but the time the next shot is fired the reticle is center again, which is a horrible thing to have if you’re going up against someone with the DMR and you don’t have one. (Minus the skill barrier)
