I want to see where Craig is after his cameo in last year’s trailer.
I personally want to see programmable bots for Halo Infinite’s Forge mode. That would be so useful when it comes to the clan aspect of Halo. Just think about it, some features that the programmable bots could have are things like:
- Patrolling patterns - Player whitelists (to make sure they don’t kill certain players) - Difficulty settings - respawn rates - armor ability and equipment usage - vehicle usageAnd these are only a few features that could be implemented to make this possible. And I know it would most likely be a challenge to code this idea into the game, but most of these features could be reused from AI characters such as enemy elites or friendly marines! What do you think?
I want to see a world that’s fully realised and not something that 343 thought would look cool. Don’t get me wrong there’s no hate here but there is concern this being there first attempt at an at least semi open world game when they have struggled to make interesting linear ones.
I want to see enemy bases positioned in places that make sense. Not just randomly dotted around the map for the sake of content. I want vertically to make use of the grapple shot, I want weather and for weather to have affects. Rain/snow affects vehicles like mongoose’s, razorbacks, warthogs, I want fog to minimise enemy detection ability leading to you being able to get in close without them psychically knowing you are there. Morning ,dew, rivers, outposts that actually guard location as that make sense like a vehicle spawn, or ammo/weapons caches not just in the middle of nowhere for the sake of it. Caves, forerunner facilities, nooks and crannies to explore that make you leave with just as many questions as answers.
I want reactive wildlife even if it’s not hostile. I don’t want it to react to me but not enemies or other friendlies. Having a pack of space deer running my way and me figuring out that it’s because they’ve been spooked by a Banished patrol coming the opposite way to me.
I want smart enemies over numerous enemies, I know we will be outnumbered but rather than throw 3 waves of grunts, 2 packs of Brutes and snipes at me throw one wave of grunts, 2 brutes and a snipe but have them actually work together.
If they ever return (even if it’s as an expansion after the main base games campaign) I want the flood to affect the immediate area. Spore clouds, flood mounds, little to no wildlife as they’ve been converted etc.
