So as a content creator myself, I’m really curious what everyone wants to see from Halo in terms of Twitch and Youtube. Like what type of Halo youtube videos are you wanting to watch? Do you want tips and tricks? How to get better? Montages? And like on the twitch side of things, what do you want to see from Halo streamers more often? Good gameplay? Casual fun gameplay? Forging? etc etc. Let me know, I’m genuinely curious what everyone enjoys watching for Halo.
I myself enjoy learning the ins and outs of maps and spawns and how I can get better, so I always watch Pro players on Twitch and really enjoy funny gameplay compilations on youtube.

Single Halo Clips, Sick Halo Clips Everyday
There’s nothing better than a nice chill montage or an insanely well put together one. The Str8 Rippin Montage from Halo 3 is one of if not THE best Halo montage there is.

Never seen the “Str8 Rippin Montage”. I’ll have to look it up.
Honestly I feel like they all only make Infinite videos now. And if we don’t have any news they either don’t make as many videos or the quality of the vids drop.
I think they should “somewhat” let go of being dependant on Infinite news to make vids, every single channel doesn’t need to be a news channel, I felt like many of the channels had more of their own thing going before.
Lots of admiration to Rocketsloth who still just do what they do, they have a underrated role in the community right now.
I miss Xperias lore dives, and UltimateHalo’s “can we guess your fav Halo” and unique things like that.

It is a CLASSIC, ask anyone thats been around for a while about it. Also highly recommend anything by Hyena or Kampy, Hyena will have you absolutely amazed and Kampy is one of my favorites.
The two big criticisms I have of popular Halo content creators:
Be Positive about the game! You’re making content about it, people are coming to your channel to be excited about the game and they want to see more of it. Be enthusiastic and excited if you’re ever on mic and don’t make an entire video about a polarising topic. - Interact with your community. Set up games with them, get them in to help with some insane trick shot or otherwise impossible jump. Host custom games and feature community maps in your montages. People love seeing their name on screen, even if they are getting killed. That’s my two cents, hope it helps. Send us a link to your channel, I might check it out.

I FULLY AGREE WITH THE POSITIVETY THING, that is something I try to stray from because a lot of pro players I know and watch can be so negative about things and decisions made and its like control what you can control and make the best of what you can. The Halo Community can be very negative.
For sure dude youtube and twitch I will take whatever criticisms you have that I can approve upon

Haha your videos aren’t half bad. Honestly the best thing you can do is keep uploading, streaming and slowly building an audience while you figure out the humour and identity of channel. Also the twitch link didn’t work for me.
Good luck!
I’d like to see more honesty and less clickbait with some of the Halo-centric content creators, the lore focused channels seem to do a decent job of this
I’d like a combination. I’d be interested in the lore and also Easter egg finding. But I’d also like videos maybe giving tips on how to get better. ( I’m not a very good player sadly)

Thank You! Definitely trying to find my identity within the Halo community for sure.
I just find most Halo people to either be very respectful of others and usually lore-based channel-wise or super toxic and hurtful to others.
The Halo community is the demon and angel in that way. Because it’s the worst, best, and strongest community you’ll ever find. Like the Destiny community they’re not strangers to disappointment nor are they innocent to surprise or backlash.
however I feel all the content creators follow a “staple”. Which are the two common staples I showed. I want to see more creators get personal with their audiences, and play the game for more than just the game itself. Because that’s the best a content creator can be: an escape from the reality.
Or you can be one of the edgy guys that talk nothing other than realism for 30 minutes a day. Whatever floats your boat.

Two things I always try to portray. Being positive about the game and ALWAYS interacting with my viewers/community. Growing on social media means you have to engage and interact with your supporters.
To answer the original question, I’d love to see more casual Halo streamers. 90%+ of Halo streamers are competitive which is great but we need more casual streamers. Players who aren’t concerned with their K/D or their rank and just want to play because they love playing Halo. I pride myself on being positive, laid back, and always playing with fellow Halo fans. Its more about sharing our passion, having a good time, laughing, networking, and distracting ourselves from the rest of the world.

You’re missin out b. It’s the best Halo Montage of all time.
What I really want is a more concise news source. I’d prefer not to have to sit through a 10-15 minute video that’s mostly repeated speculation and filler with only a couple of minutes new information.
