What do you want in Halo 4's Forge?

Title says all!

Everything one can think of. (I would seriously have to sit down for about an hour and list everything, to lazy…)

-a mix of the items from halo 3 and halo reach
-terrain editor would be nice
-new areas/climates to forge in
-interactive forge pieces (doors opening with buttons/etc…) could make some awesome maps with that

Two assault rifles. The reach one and the halo CEA looking one. Another is a far cry 2 place to forge. With a-

1.Terrain editor
2.Undo button
3.actual delete all of these button
4.Scarabs and pelicans
5.Boats
6.Skybox selector aka multiple skyboxes
7.Time and weather FX
8.More objects from Halo 3 and and Reach but have multiple skins per object, so every object can be interpreted as different as a person.
9.AR’s Like above^^^
10. Forklifts
11. A.I. mapping and firefight forge
12. Streets to be in bridge column, like multiple streets. Covenant streets and human streets
13. Destructible objects. So have a destructible version for every object.
14. Destroyed objects. Objects that are already destroyed, so like vehicles that are always destroyed.
15. Placing fire and lightining. Fire on the ground and clouds that make lightining.
16. Tornado’s and tsunami’s. For wind.
17. alternate gravity zones.

Why no terrain editor? It includes Mountains, volcano’s, and making your own lakes/rivers.

I want a Forge mode, where you make a map from scratch. I want a bunch of preloaded textures that i can apply to different premade and self made objects. I want a way to set time of day, weather effects, and lighting. I would also like a terrain editor. However, as the map gets larger, explosion prone, and resource intense, I want your aesthetic options to get smaller for a more consistent frame rate. I would also like more gametype integration in forge.

As much as we can get. Lol. Here is actual list.

Water control, we should be able to put water in different places and make things like water slides and water falls, not joking I can think of ways to make this so useful if it reacts with objects right.

Gravity Box, make a box with a set gravity inside, you could make rooms with different gravity. Would love to see how water would react in it.

Go under water without dying. Its as simple as it sounds but would offer a much larger variety of what to do.

Give structure a set weight. We should be able to push around pillars and stuff like that, it would allow the forge lovers to make destructible scenery, and we could make much more interesting obstacles.

Cut objects, we need to be able to cut objects and instantly reverse it because sometimes its hard to make things the way you want em because another vital object is in the way, well maybe the one part is not needed so cut through it, then choose from a list of textures to put on the new walls of the shape.

Motioned objects, I really think we should be able to make a track(i don’t mean make an actual track, simply set a rout for the object) for objects, so we can make elevators, rotating bridges and moving obstacles, maybe also have a sensor so when you pass it the door or whatever will activate.

I don’t think any engine will be able to do this for a while but since its a really good idea, a terrain editor would be nice.

That’s all I got.

I could write a book on what I want in Forge, but I’ll keep it short.

Basically, everything except a terrain editor.

If any of these were in halo 4 I would be pleased.

NEED

  • Different skins, every item will have different skins such as UNSC, Covenant, Forerunner, Flood infested and city.

  • Smaller more decorative items, radios, phones, Screens,light, Computers and other furniture.

  • Several different Forge Worlds. Imagine An empty UNSC Military base lot to build on, or a blank city with building plots.

  • Weather editor

  • Ammo Boxes like the ones in firefight with different variants for covenant weapons, power weapons, an all purpose one and maybe a forerunner one.

  • Automatic and manual opening doors.

  • Every map having the whole Forge Library

WANT

  • Engineer Mode: A mission based Player vs AI mode. Think of MW2 Spec Ops but with halo’s style and the ability to create your own missions. Having access to all firefight maps and Multiplayer maps all enemies and forge libraries.
    This would add so much to Halo’s population and creativity.

You should be able to spawn:

Every vehicle (trucks, forklifts, transport warthos, elephants etc.)
More buildings
More forge pieces instead of the boring forerunner pieces
Drop pods
Water
Proper roads
Sacrabs on the big maps
Pelicans + Phantoms on big maps

And there should be about 4 different forge worlds because the same one gets a little boring because EVERY map is on it.

How about if there is a map flooding problem that causes us to need the currency which limits out creativity if we can make objects in another mode, still is not as good as doing it in the map during construction but you could still probably put some more in, maybe make measurement system to know how big to make things?

I would want to put ai on a map and create a custom campaign that doesnt link directly into the built in disc campaign like how custom maps arent put into an offical big time playlist except the community playlist in reach.
Also, the ability to use kinect as a add-on only for importing items but also support for importing using the xbox camera unless it becomes outdated by then. But besides the above just add support for driving pelicans and bring in new default forge vehicles never seen.

Im hoping for ai more then importing though.

1 Fix the coordinant glitch from reach. This is probably the most annoying glitch in reach, i mean the box say’s there perfecly equal but you look and there not .
2.Openable doors, opperating elavators, ect. this is somthing i have tried to do myself but cant get it to work . 3.terrain editor. Basicly this allows you to put a hill on this side of the map and flatten out the other. One way to do this is to have the entire map out of the GRIDS from reach.
4 Forgable trees, water, fire, ect. This almost completes the forging expirience.
5 pelicans and phantomes. Now before anyone says UNSC frigate or covenant corvette, that would be extremly hard and would probably take up a whole disk, however, i would like to have a map that lets you go everywhere in a covette or frigate but fliing them would take up quiet some disk space.
6 ''skins" for certain objects, such as you select a wall piece and select forunner, covenant, unsc, flood, damaged flood, damaged unsc, damaged covenant,damaged forunner and simply red, blue, green, ect.
7 WEATHER FX I CANT SAY IT ENOUGH
this will make forge much better.

While halo does have forge for a reason, it’s not so people can make their own maps, just improve others to their liking. Do you have any idea how hard it would be to include a terrain editor? Or how much space it would take up to include all the tools required to make your own map? It would be -Yoink!- hard.

First off you are wrong on one part, forge mode is for both tweaking maps and creating maps. Also it is possoble to have all those tools. What if there was a separate disk for forge mode? Imagine all those tools, options, settings, peaces, such a large variety, people could make a map with a completely unique theme, and there could be unlimited objects, if forge was on a separate disk it could hit its true potential. If there is a problem with HD space maybe there could be an option to store maps on the server.
