IMO 2.0 was catered to much to casuals mainly with the options and weapon caches which led to a minor disappointment.
To start off, all ff achievements and challenges must be obtained through the gametypes that come on the disk. This will actually make them challenging.
Killstreaks will be an amazing addition but at a high price. At least a 50 kill streak will start you off. Long sword, marines, weapon/vehicle drops. It goes on.
A 2 in 1 right here. Bigger maps, and I mean lost platoon and bigger, for an all new gametype called Drop into Hell. Imagine spawning in a frigate as an ODST. Same health and movement from ODST. Pick your weapon(nothing heavy). Get n your pod and drop feet first into hell. From there, you setup a safe spawn zone to avoid dropping after every death(maybe).
An option to use ODST style caches or Reach style caches.
Halo 3, Anniversary, and new skulls.
Maybe gow3 with the points and making it into a tower defense based game.
I wanna kill some Flood. It think instead of killstreaks we should have in-game credits so we can purchase stuff from a consle(air srikes, marines etc.). A question for you: what would you think about unlocking weapon attachments (for firefight only)? I also like your drop pod idea.
Full customization, character choice(Elite, or spartan) and all A.I. available as both enemies and/or allies. This means if I want to play as an elite and have sentinels, sword elites, and hunters on my side fighting an army of marines and fuel rod grunts, while simuealtaneously having flood spawn and attack as all, I can do that. I want to be able to create mass chaotic battles, like they had in Halo 2 where it was you fighting covenant, fighting flood, fighting sentinels⦠I miss that so much and having the oppurtunity to make these things happen in firefight would be awesome!
On a secondary want list:
The ability to create customs firefight maps(firefight forge)
Vehicular based firefight maps
Aerial based firefight maps with jetpack infantry, anti-air ground vehicles, and enmy air units, etc.
Larger maps for mass scale battles
Maps on a variety of different locations such as islands, bunkers, fortified areas, forests, open plains, cities(forerunner, human, and/or covenant), underwater stations(an atlantis type scenario)
On an interesting but very improbable idea side note:
Combine firefight, and regular customs, and forge.
This would allow people who want custom maps, to be able to have A.I. bots. It would also allow full customization, and if people did not want the bots, they could turn them off. Thus one can have firefight infection (using the standard infected model, but if an A.I. is infected, they turn into flood), firefight slayer
The possibilities with this idea are near limitless. However, this idea would require a complete restructuring of forge, and firefight. This could be either good or bad, but nonetheless, it would be very complicated to do.

I have some general suggestions that I would like to make in regards to FireFight
4-Way Battle!: Four diffirent factions-UNSC,Covenant,Flood,Forerunner/Sentinel all duke it out on a particular battle scape in an destructive FFA -Yoink!-!
Orbital Assets!: Drop Pods!-ODST,Elite,Flood Pods,Sentinel dispersal-(Like in GoO)
are AI reinforcements/opposition!

this is actually a better idea than a CoD remake
like you start in a base with a radio
some ideas
if X amount of credits is recived, you will be abel to order a marine reinforcment at the next reinforcment drop (when the anoncer goes āREINFORMENTS!ā)
make it so you can choose what comes in the pelican you call
you can have just marines (cheapest)
you can have ODSTās drop into the map (more expensive)
you can have marines + a warthog (more)
and you can have a scorpion drop (supah espensive)
also you should be able to have falcons or hornets come in to be used (for a big map)
you can use the radio to call in a heavy weapon drop
for airstrikes, command drops a drop pod with a target locator, self explaitory from here
Halo 3: ODSTās firefight and theyāre good. Normally Iām not one to ask for an exact replica of a previous thing too much, but ODSTās firefight was pretty much perfect. Iād love to see it return.
