What do you want from halo 4 maps?

What do you want from Halo 4 multiplayer maps?

Halo 2 maps plus Pit, Guardian and Construct.

All I want are maps that aren’t like Reach’s maps. And no, not worse, better. If we can meet that “minimum requirement”, I’ll be happy.

I don’t want cut outs from the campain. I want new, original maps that are fun, unique, and creative. I don’t want to have all grey maps. Colour in most of the maps would be nice. They shouldn’t be boring like the ones in Reach. They should be creative like Construct, Narrows or Gephyrophobia (even if you don’t like those maps). They should be different too. I don’t want to always feel like I’m in the same place. The maps need to play well too. I’m sure that we all want maps that are enjoyable!

Burial Mounds
and Terminal
HO yes and THA Pit

Switches that open gates.

Balance.

-Small competitive maps
-Large vehicle maps

  • Including the spiritual successor to Blood Gulch rather than a full on remake
    -Medium maps right in the middle
    -Interactive items on the map, including elevators, doors operated by buttons, and even things like the train on terminal.
    -Vast amount of environments and themes
    -Effective for forging

Competitive gameplay. Aesthetics need to take a backseat for properly made and balanced maps. If the pretty rainbow gives one team an advantage over the other and the other team has no equal but opposite advantage, then they should take out that pretty rainbow until they figure out where it is best placed in a competitive enviroment (or not placed at all).

No remakes. Yes Halo2 and 3 had great maps, but I’m getting tired of seeing remakes.

Just every Halo map ever made. DLC should only consist of new ones.
