I want it to be Halo and not reach. I want something competitive and a ranking system like Halo 2.

Yeah, me too, Halo 2 ranking system was awesome though.
I want them to consider the desires of the competitive community first before they go off and add all of these uncalled for changes that no one asked for, and some people feared.
Like people have said before, casuals can play a competitive game (especially when the game has as many custom options as Halo), but competitive players cannot play a casual game.

I’d like to see 2 different playlists, one for the all halo 4 changes and new things, and the others for truly halo hardcore fans.
I just banged on about this in another thread so I feel it right to say here.
No UNSC, Covenant, or Forerunner in Halo 4!
If you’ve already written them in, cut them out because each detracts from the role the master chief could have as the ultimate focal point for this new trilogy.

Two categories of playlists, you mean?
Like ranked (for Halo fans, won’t include AAs, non-cosmetic armor, etc.), and social.
This system worked well for H3.
- no bloom (confirmed)
- no armor lock
- classic playlist (confirmed)
- br hitscan (confirmed)
