I see SO MANY opinions and theories on how infinite is gonna turn out.

I want to start (if its okay with the forum admins) a post where we can post all our crazy fan theories so people can hopefully find them all easier in 1 post and benefit their own theories by building on one anothers.

That being said has anyone read the book that came with the limited/legendary edition of halo reach?

Halseys diary explains how she created a clone of her self and made the AI that became cortana. She states that she clones herself multiple times and also explains how she expects the state of cortana’s health shed begin deteriorating at around the events of Halo 4.

With that in mind, Halsey (whose still alive as we know.) split cortana in 2 prior to the events of reach and half of that AI went to chief the other stayed with Halsey.
My speculation is simple. That little bit we caught at e3 where chief put a AI chip into his helmet wasnt the Cortana we know or even necessarily a new AI but actually A CLONE of her! (Another sample from Halsey.)

I mean it makes sense, the only true way to beat cortana it seems would be for her to well, kill herself. Thats just my hypothesis tell me what you guys think about the subject.

Cant wait to read up on all the elaborate fan concepts.

again, all theory based on what weve seen. Not saying it will happen.

even though its in engine demo it still had story related hints for a reason and wouldn’t surprise me if this happens
