Vehicles - Enemies - Weapons - Collectibles - Armor - Gametypes - ETCReally want to hear some of your guys’s comments on this given some interesting comments I’ve seen on Twitter.
Personally I think the Banished will make a return. I also like to see almost every weapon variant come return
One thing I’d love to see is the return of the Chopper. While its handling isn’t the best, I’ve still found it quite fun to drive. The fact that you can also ram other vehicles into pieces while taking no damage is awesome.
If the Banished are a full-fledged enemy in Infinite, I think this would be possible.

Yeah like stuff from Halo Envoy, the comics. Maybe even Halo Wars.

They’d have to make them less bullet spongey. Like they can still teleport and hijack, but they’d have to make it so that we can shoot off their limbs and armor faster.

The return of the chopper would be awesome definitely would be my vehicle of choice.
I think we will most likely see classic weapons from the previous Halo video games coming back in the upcoming Halo Infinite especially the Assault Rifle, Battle Rifle, Shotgun, Submachine Gun and the Sniper Rifle. I also think that the Flood will be coming back in Halo Infinite.

Larger amounts of exploration
A return to the sense of mystery and wonder that Halo:CE evoked so well
A game engine worthy of being a “AAAA” tier game in 2020, which hopefully the SlipSpace engine will be
A primary protagonist that is either not the Prometheans, or has been at least fundamentally redesigned so that they are no longer just these generic silver-metallic robots that shoot orange stuff and have zero personality.

I highly doubt Infinite is going to have near as many weapons and vehicles as Halo 5. In Halo 5; the SMG, Assault Rifle, SAW and Storm Rifle were essentially the same weapons with slightly varying stats and appearances. What’s more is that they each had a seemingly unlimited amount of variations on top of that. Everything suggests 343i will now be bringing things down a notch to focus on quality instead of quantity. The focus will shift on every weapon and vehicle being unique from one another instead of having multiple clones of the same weapon. Halo 5’s Mythic Arena is a good example of this. No one weapon is the same as another in Mythic.

The ar, smg, and storm rifle differed pretty greatly. The storm rifle melts up close. They called it the lightsaber. Ar is great all around and kind of a -Yoink!- weapon. Smg was horrible at range but great up close.
I don’t mind the variety because campaign can have variations in a few levels here and there. Multiplayer will be pretty good but btb and warzone can have w.e variation possible. I just want more underbarrel attachments for unsc weapons like a shotgun and nade launcher. The bayonet was pretty cool.

That may be true at the initial release date, but who’s to say about post-launch content? They could easily add new stuff into the game like they did with Halo 5 after its release.

I’m definitely am hoping for larger exploration as well!
What better way of having explorable Halo game then to have a mysterious sense to it.
