What do you think will be in Halo 5?

Once again, its just another post on what you think may be added in Halo 5 based on Halo; Nightfall, Beta gameplay, leaked info, and the trailers/teaser.

Prometheans;
Lightrifle was in the beta, probably so.

The Brutes;
At the end of the full version of the teaser in H2A, you can hear an Elite in the background say “Covenant Forces Inbound.” Could be Jul 'Mdama’s splinter group, or it could be a reformed Covenant empire with the Brutes…Who knows.
Cortana____;
In Halo 3, The Arbiter (and partially Guilty Spark) served as Chief’s guide while Cortana was on High Charity. I think Spartan Locke and Arby will guide the Chief while Cortana isn’t there, if she returns.

Another clue is in the level “Requiem” in the 1st area. A log is found of Dr. Halsey from 2550, about an AI. It talks about how it bypassed its 7-year life-span that she “Implemented in her matrix” Cortana has a 7 year life-span, and is a her (duh) That could hint that Cortana somehow survived inside the Mantles Approach (The Didact’s Ship that the Chief destroyed) despite her rampancy and the nuclear explosion.

Dual-Wielding;
Magnums were nerfed quite a bit, and SMGs were re-added. It could lead to the possibility that dual-wielding is returning. I believe one of the main reasons that dual-wielding was removed was because of the balance of magnums, and SAW was added in as a replacement for the SMG.

Drones;
Those pesky flying aliens are annoying and, thankfully, there have been no signs of their return. Don’t worry, the skies remain fairly safe, except for watchers.

Any other ideas?

I believe 343 Industries already said that there won’t be dual-wielding in the game, however, it’s a gameplay mechanic that could appear in future games.

I hope it doesn’t. The SMG is finally useful now in Halo 5. Dual wielding would require it to be significantly nerfed.

Good point. In the beta, it took about a mag or so to kill someone at mid range. But in Halo 2, it took both SMG mags to be nearly drained to kill anyone.

I would like to see blue team, an introductory sequence explaining the events of escalation and other things that happen between both games, and a good team for Locke(Buck at least). No drones please. Those bugs deplete my ammo
