I voted Elizabeth, as it is Dr. Halsey’s middle name.
Cortana is a name that will cause some drama-confusion amongst allies, plus I think the reason that it cut away before she gave her answer at the end of Part 1 of the campaign implies that we might be getting a Red Herring as players will EXPECT “Cortana” when really she might choose something else.
Catherine was a close second of mine, but if Dr. Halsey enters the story, we would just have some confusion over who we are talking about in some scenes.

So I think Elizabeth is a good name.

I hope it’s Durandal or something akin to that. It would really pay homage to the old Cortana letters from before Halo CE released.

But realistically I think it’s going to be Cortana.

But in all honesty, judging by 343’s lack of creativity and originality, her name will probably be Cortana again.

I don’t think it’s so much lack of creativity it looks like this is the direction they intended to go she will most likely call herself Cortana but they’re actually might be away to save the original Cortana with the new Cortana if there’s any time traveling in the game there’s been a few theories about time traveling

To be honest, I’m not really that upset with her being called Cortana again but damn… aren’t we just beating a dead horse at this point? I mean this story is starting to repeat itself in different ways now… they replaced Cortana with The Weapon who will most likely become Cortana again but this time naive-good instead of Skynet-evil, will she still become rampant in seven years or what? Was this removed? Did The Gravemind waste it’s time? Is The Domain completely useless or did it actually do something?

They pretty much also replaced The Covenant with The Banished, and The Flood with The Endless. The Forerunners are kind of just… there, somewhere. While The Master Chief and The Pilot fight impossible odds to eventually take down The Harbinger.
