I personally think it could work as long as it isn’t out of balance. One thing I hope won’t be an outcome of this is that there will be a perfect weapon that can be created, like how everyone uses the Famas in CoD. What are your thoughts?

Yah, Customization should be for looks only it shouldn’t affect the gameplay at all. i would personally love to see a forza 3/4 type customization, that would be interesting.

We’re not going to customize how a weapon functions. The only thing we’re customizing on the gun is the skin, which has no effect on how much damage a gun will do, or even how the scope functions.

Don’t be silly, they’d only do that for the Grenade Launcher and Sword.
OT: I love the idea of customizing the look of my weapons. I just hope it isn’t like Crysis 2 where I was told if I got either of the Special Editions I would get a special skin for the Assault Rifle…Only to find out that “special” skin was the only skin in the whole game and just for that weapon…
At least it was digital camo, nice change of pace from the cement-gray C2 is so fond of. And on my favorite weapon, no less!

I get that. One of the things that makes me want this so bad is the feeling I get when I pick up a gun that someone made customized to their liking and killing them with it.
It just makes me feel so badass.
