As the title says, I like it’s use but hate its design, I just think it looks too puny next to the AR for what it does, thoughts?

It’s not that I hate the design, but I can’t help feel that it looks more like something from crysis than halo, I think it needs to look more distinct and bulky to really give that halo feel, I keep getting crysis flash backs looking at it
I just need to know whether it is a power weapon or not.

It’s a shame the SMG isn’t in again, but I think an LMG will fill that role.

It reminds me a lot of the M249 Squad Automatic Weapon. It uses the same ammo as a M16 or M4 carbine, but has the capacity for putting a large volume of fire downrange. It will be interesting to see how they’ve balanced out the rate of fire, power, and magazine size.
I want to know how it compares the to machine gun turret. It can’t be stronger that it, that would just make the machine gun turret pointless. Really, what would be the point of using a gun which makes you immobile/incredibly slow when in use (depending on whether you detach it or not) just to have another machine gun which is far more mobile and has superior fire-power?

I would liken it more to an M27 IAR, which is very much like the HK416, but with a different barrel and larger magazines.
Or maybe an MG36, if not just for the magazine shape.
I like the idea and most of the gun but the barel looks a little silly should be beafier.

That’s what I first thought: Finally, they’ve made a good replacement for the SMG!
It looks very strong. It better be a power weapon or this weapon will be the only used weapon in the game.
The same with the Sticky detonator and the Railgun. They are both weapons that seems way to easy to hit with considering they are a 1 shot kill weapon. The auto-aim needs to be tuned down a lot on these two.
I think i’m going to mow some people down with it.
