I really like the way longbow looks. It looks a lot smaller in some pictures but others it looks huge. Im curious to see how it plays. Personally, I’ve always LOVED snow maps on any game especially halo so I already know im going to like this map.

It would be nice if someone could consolidate all these videos and images into one video. I would but Im not quite sure how I would do so.
I like the look of it. I’ve seen some of the on-the-ground screenshots, though, and it seems a bit small. I hope it’s just perspective. It seems like a mixture between Breakpoint and Longshore, which were both fun maps. As I type this, I realize the similarity in the names…
Either way, I hope there are much more open maps for BTB, like Sandtrap.
Longbow looks like a visually delicious map. Seems like more of a BTB kinda playground, I’d say a “spirtual successor” of Avalanche.

There really isn’t too much footage of it. Im going to hunt down the other video with gameplay on it but there really isn’t much. I don’t know why there was no MLG footage of it.

If you look at the Longbow 1 picture, you can see a glimpse of the water rendering in this game. OH MY GOODNESS THAT LOOKS GOOD.
The one thing that bugged me about MLG’s coverage of Halo 4 (besides the fact that everyone was using BRs and Promethean Vision, ignoring the other starting weapons and Armour Abilities) was that it was all focused on Adrift and Haven. Longbow is the map I wanted to see most! Watching competitive matches is great, but I really wanted to see some Warthog-related homicide.

I understand what you mean, I was really hoping on getting at least one game on this map. What I find weird was the MLG guys said that they in fact did play on this map and out of all the videos we received of gameplay, not a one was on this map…
So sad.

Longbow looks like a pretty decent map for the BTB carnage. It has lots of nice cover, and seems to offer some CQC opportunities as well.
I haven’t seen the map yet, so no opinion here.
I think Haven is better… for obvious reasons…
