The same thing happened in H4 and H5, but this will not affect 343.
Even if the number is low, there will be loyal fans to stick to and maintain 343.
Microsoft will not punish or disband 343i for this.
So I guess we just have to accept it or play other games.

Terrible development decisions, lies, half-baked gameplay, terrible SBMM and balance in literally all modes, plus many more. This game is pretty much dead at this point. Unless 343i pull a miracle out of the hat I doubt itâll make a recovery.

I donât believe their metrics on that game at all. Not sure how they conclude or rank a game as âmost playedâ but I 100% guarantee they are giving Halo more of a boost than it is. 10000% they have something in the algorithm that sways opinion towards Halo.
I already said in like the 5th post of this topic that it wouldnt matter much what time. I meant to reply to the post right above mine that implied I didnt know non Americans play this game.
@Netty1960 The amount of dysync or cheaters at 1700+ onyx is ridiculous. Iâm low 1600 only because I cant get shots to register, im getting shot around corners. someone on my teams game crashed or someone on the other team has aim bot.

Everyone here think the average players knows or cares about these issues.
The real reason, OP, is that is was Free to Play and its a well known brand - Halo. So tonnes of Steam players just give it a whirl cause its fee. Maybe they have fun. Maybe they donât. Then they go back to the games they usually play. Everyone is playing Battle Royales these days.
What about the Xbox playerbase? Thatâs the core Halo audience.
These forums are a bad place to measure stuff like this cause users have tunnel vision and are prone to theatrics.

@Holy_Sok I would agree with you years ago, but most streamers and top gamers are playing on computers now. You cant tell me Destiny 2 is a computer game, I believe its audience is mostly Xbox. But it was able to hold its audience on computer as well. The fact is this Halo is Xbox and PC and should hold their audience on both. And Iâm sure if I could pull up Xbox numbers they would be just as bad. I know all my friends left this Halo from lack of content.

no since h4 when Cortana died (and she did die in what was possibly one of the best self sacrifices in video game history) 117 has been acting like a little emo cry baby trying to get his dead girlfriend back and now heâs basically âdatingâ younger her sister.

Iâve played over 200 ranked games solo and most of them are stomps one way or the other. No âtrue soloâ queue (only solo/duo) is making the âSBMMâ feel like a nightmare for me. Lots of âunrankedâ players in my games or really mismatched matches.
