343 took years to update the MCC, seven months to update the H5 Infection mode, so apparently they don’t care about the current population.
Now this game doesn’t deserve to compete with these hot FTB games.

@GusTank04 For Halo Infinite the all time peak was 272,586. The 24 hour peak is 45,447. If you do the math thats about a 85% drop and it hasnt even been 2 months yet.
Destiny 2 had an all time peak of 292,513. The 24 hour peak is 71,836. If you do the math thats about a 75% drop, and the games been out 5 years.
How can a huge title like Halo in the first 2 months die quicker than a game thats been out 5 years.
Numbers dont lie. The game is failing whether you want to believe it or not.

Find matches in less than 4 seconds at any point of the day, I don’t care about the “Population drop”. It literally doesn’t effect me.

- btb not working
- custom games not working.
- no forge
- no co-op campaign
- no roadmap
- cheaters and making it cheaters super easy with FTP model and no anti-cheat.
- no disable cross-play function.
The first one is my biggest issue. The fact that Halo 5 had 16 playlists the day infinite dropped and infinite drops with only three playlists. And the reason they did it was because people maybe had to wait too long for a match? If there is ANY time a game has a lot of players it is the week of release. But 343 let all those potential players go.
My three Halo 5 buddies downloaded Halo Infinite: “where is ranked slayer?” “It is not here? Okay, f*** it, I’m out.”
They could’ve been potential infinite players if this game released with basic playlists.

well seeing as i’m part of the dropped player stat, i’ll say this is one of the most broken multiplayer games i’ve ever touched, even when pubg launched early access on Xbox it was more fun to play and this campaign has almost as many bugs as cyberpunk and crashes almost as often too.
Why would Microsoft and 343i think drip feeding content for a supposed 20 year game would be the best path to success though?
Unless gamepass really is that influencing that they would rather have constant Halo content dripped out rather than go big on release?
A 10 year game should ship with a road map… Not a road map 3 months down the line.

The movement is too slow on PC. Strafing feels good, sprint feels pointless, sliding is uninspired and locked in on rails. There is a very limited amount of creativity you can have with your movement. It’s not that exciting when compared to games like Apex, Destiny 2, or even BF2042.
Halo is supposed to be an Arena Shooter. Movement should be King. I understand it has a long history on console and that’s what made it popular. I get that part. It’s now on PC and while it will have a dedicated following it will never beat other games that favor MnK.
I’m fighting slow movement and Aim Assist. It’s just not fun or exciting with MnK. I can’t make my opponents miss with my movement. I absolutely hate playing shooters with a controller and will just play something else instead that respects that skill.

How about casuals getting stomped by parties of 4 or bigger. How about casual console players be force matched against PC players and getting stomped. How about how they nerfed two solid weapon choices the ravager and the commando from the last flight to the launch. All of my friends are casual players on the Series X and I will not recommend this game for them to play knowing they will have a miserable time because of these issues. The gameplay is there. But they are doing their very best to run off the casuals just like they did with Halo 5. Now NOW, there is an article on the Verge making its way around the internet how forced crossplay is ruining multiplayer games for console players.

This needs to be turned off as forced immediately. Keep it as an option obviously. But it should not be forced.

Infinite is fundamentally broken.
Whats the point of trying to play a shooting game when your shots dont register half the time or the cover your trying to use is pointless cause the desync is off the charts.
The monetisation doesn’t bother me, you want to spend $10 on an emblem fine, you do you.
People play games for enjoyment, many of us only have a limited time to do so in on top of that.
Do i want to spend an hour getting jerked off by bad netcode and end up frustrated or do i just go play something else thats not a broken mess and is fun to play?
No brainer really.

Were talking about peak hours aka when Americans arent all at work. Yes a small minority is playing at that time, mostly in Europe. I see alot of topics from Asian and South American players who say there are hardly any servers in those regions so that tells me there arent too many of them that play.
@Gefferr you can check anytime of the day and the population is dropping. You can compare current, peak, what ever time population you want and can see the player base is dropping. You can also compare this F2P with any other F2P game and realize its not doing good.

Reminds me of a certain Moderator during the Halo 5 Era, she was WAY to freaking sensitive, and felt very slighted if she feels youre taking her job away in even the slightest. not sure if shes stilla round, Hope she aint, she was awful.
but i remember, if you see a member of the forums being a jerk and being rude to others and you try and calmly try to help them settle down, (ya know be a good and responsible fellow forum member) She would feel completely Slighted and youd wake up with a warning the next day to not “Take her job away” or some crap, and if you confront her that you werent, shed Perma ban you.
this Hermit fellow is starting to reek of the Same (Apparently im not allowed to say the Word Outright, Huh) ESS JAY W nonsense she did and of course taking their job WAY Too seriosuly. Clutching it like their life depends on it and screaming at anyone who even remotely comes close to making them feel useless. some of the moderators on these forums definitely need to leanr to chill and take things easy.

Simply the lack of care and no sense of urgency to fix your game, it’s the 12th of January and BTB is still broken. If this was my game I would have at least tried to fix the issue during the holidays.
For us here in Rural NSW Australia, we are on the verge of giving up. From what we can gather, DESYNC. Sure, it might be free to play, but what if it’s unplayable? It’s like me giving you a free car, then you find the engine is blown up and it doesn’t have a gearbox.
