I have a bad feeling it will be review bombed for no coop, while its an important feature i think thats only worth a few points in the grand scheme
I have a feeling the MP Progression will bring down the scores. I assume somewhere from mid 80’s to low 90’s. Preferably the latter.
I was thinking something similar but they did fix it a good amount recently… what are your thoughts on no coop bringing down the score?
Have you seen what all those journalist are saying about Battlefield 2042 ?
They will probably do the exact same thing.
It will be higher for the campaign but i can guarantee they will put a really high score for multiplayer
I fear it’ll get review-bombed more for what it lacks than what is has (i.e. forge, coop, playlists, etc.) and especially for its microtransactions. If I were a professional reviewer I’d give it a 9/10 or 10/10 if I were to take only the free multiplayer into account. If I had to pay $60 for this multiplayer, then probably 8/10
I suppose that depends on how much 343/Microsoft pays the critics.
Are we talking the mp, sp, or both? For mp I’d give it a 6/10. Enjoyable combat but there’s so much work to be done in all aspects of the game it’s crazy.
SP much harder to judge because obviously can’t play it yet, but if reactions of the people who have gotten early access to the game are any indication I’m thinking a 8 or 9/10
