Had 2000 saved since theTenrai Event came back, happy to have Gungnir again
Someone on reddit said the Pop Weapon set makes the weapons look very “McDonald’s Happy Meal Toy” themed and I tend to agree. It’s just not for me.
I can barely tell what Midnight Wrath does to the armor – seems a bit bland. And, the Intrusion coating is basically the color brown. Neither of these feel worth the price.
The Stormfall helmet attachment makes me laugh a bit, as people have pointed out the Cyber Showdown Visor clips directly through it. I’m sure only eagle eyed players will notice…

sure, midnight wrath is a bit questionable, but it kinda looks cool. Reminds me of Emile.
I guess they haven’t thought that through.
I just don’t get why they didn’t just give us the ability to earn credits through the gameplay, forget about seasonal and event battlepasses and just have everything in a shop.

Bruh 343 WHERE ARE THE BLUE FOREARM FLAMES?
Two weeks ago they did the blue movement effect, last week they did Perfect Circle, this week was supposed to be the blue flame arms to complete the bundle they dismantled when people demanded lowered prices.
I actually wanted those arms. Damn it 343. They finally make something I would actually buy, and then they don’t put it in the shop. There were also blue wings, and fire wings, that were apparently scrapped from the shop.
I think it’s all shameful. I realllllly want gungnir. I have the money, but I refuse to support these business practices. Making it 1200 so you gotta buy the 2,000 credit bundle is a real skeezy thing to do. I haven’t played halo in weeks, and probably won’t until things change. The mark VII has 7 paid helmets and 3 free. Absolutely horrendous. I’m done. In all honesty, if anyone at 343 sees this, great gameplay, but everything else? Go. -Yoink!-. Yourselves.
EDIT: 343 are liars. The ONLY reason I would even consider buying the Gungnir helmet is solely because of FOMO. I don’t know when I’ll be able to get it again and I’d be sore if I missed it and had to wait months for it to rotate. 343 should be ashamed of themselves for bait and switching their loyal fanbase. DONT BUY SHOP ITEMS! DONT SUPPORT THEIR BUSINESS PRACTICES! STOP PLAYING ALL TOGETHER!

I think 1200 is a significantly better price for an armor set bundle than the 2000 that we’ve been seeing prior to this. 800 seems a little pricey for just a few weapon skins though, IMO. So I’d say the pricing is getting better than it was initially, but there’s still some work to do.
Still hate that I gotta pay for colors
Edit: and armor, they could of atleast kept everything the same and charged for double XP, exclusive emblems, vehicle attachments, animated skins, and other but they chose to kill halo customization.

Still not a fan of paying for armor colors as well.
1200 credits for the Gungnir set is better than the 2000 for previous sets, but still requires at least a $15 purchase since it is not an even 1000 credits, nor is there a way to just pick out and buy one or two items out of the bundle.
To be honest i’m happy and not happy with the coating system. Yes, the previous system was fine the way it was and provided more player expressiveness, but the coating system allows for more intricate designs not possible with the previous system. But I guess I would take the previous system rather than the coating system. There’s not even the colour red (With black accents) along with the other base colours.

That’s why they should’ve combined the coating system with the old system. Have the old system present and let people pick from a variety of primary/secondary/tertiary colors. THEN make the ‘coatings’ a variety of new patterns and wear & tear that can then be further customized using the old color palette.

stormfall, whiles is a good bundle. i’d say is still over priced. 8-10 would be better than 12
midnight wrath is… not worth it. i mean, you’re esentially getting a meh coating and a emblem for 5 bucks… that ain’t worth it, and not even worth being a bundle
intrusion is the same. whiles this time i can kinda see 5 bucks working. the actual cosmetics… eeeh. coating is bland. shoulders and the helmet attachment are okay. 3-4 bucks at most
pop is honestly near perfect. what is offers for the four weapons are rather nice, and i’d say worth the 8 bucks for it
overall 343 are improving the prices and bundle offerings… but they still need work

Bought the big bundle for the stance and the green coating.
Nabbed the daily bundle for the brown coating.
Sucker punched x2. But no regrets.

Damn right I went and got my GUNGNIR Helmet. Now I’m actually setting my Mark V ODST aside to don my Mark VII.
Meh.
You get what you pay for.
Happy with my purchases.
Where I’ve stuffed up a bit is that I’ve bought 3 coatings in 2 days (got the blue and gold one last night). Need to play more games to do then justice.
