What do you guys think about the camping. do you guys like Agent Lock. Do you think they could have done better with Cortana? Comment down below tell me your thoughts.
My thought:
- What makes you worry silently?

Silently, I was staring at the OP, and your subsequent post trying to reason out the two…then I realized, the OP is saying Campaign not Camping.
Hey there OP, you might want to change your title it is very confusing since I don’t believe we did any camping with Locke in Halo 5. Then again I could be wrong. I really am not a lore fanatic.
In terms of your question I wasn’t a big fan of either, and not to knock your Topic, but this has been talked to death. You probably could have found a current thread talking about this rather than starting a new one.
I’m with Dax. Might wanna edit your title or else it’ll be confusing for everyone else.
I feel kind of left out that you all went camping with Locke. I didn’t even get an invite. And yes I would prefer camping with Cortana over Locke. hahaha
I think the camping is good on Molten. The lava is great for roasting marshmallows. I didn’t really like the campaign all that much. I didn’t connect at all with Locke and Cortana with the Guardians was blah. I haven’t really done a playthrough for a very long time so I’m likely forgetting a bunch of stuff.

Who wouldn’t? You know Cortana has better fire pit stories, and can roast a meme marshmallow.

I can happily gaze into her blue eyes, then be terrified when she randomly yells crazy things at me. Yeah…I’ve got a bad feeling about this…she’s got issues.
camping in… wait wut
Campaign hahah
It was pretty bad but multiplayer was pretty good so
All you darn kids want to go camping in video games these days. Back in my day, we actually went OUTSIDE to go camping.
Joking aside, the campaign was meh. It was extremely hyped, and for it to be just meh sent a lot of people crashing down really hard. No where near the levels of Destiny 1 bad.

I don’t think you need the lava to roast the marshmallows, but maybe the air temperature in molten is definitely enough for roasting them. Would love to go camping there if the heat weren’t a thing.
I hear Sanghelios has the best campsites, and those luxurious Sangheli tents are on sale, so…
Seriously though, I did not enjoy the campaign, save for playing on Sanghelios—that was fun!
I did not like any of the characters; they added barely any substance to story; all of them could be replaced with boring-random-nobodies and still turn out with the same empty campaign. I, in fact, take most opportunities to kill those stupid AI companions:
by a plasma grenade, incineration cannon, binary rifle, blowing up their occupied vehicle, and spartan charging or ground pounding them off a cliff!Lastly, I really dislike when they continue the story with a game but it’s significantly dependant upon events that have taken placed in books.
I hate camping in every game, I don´t get how people can have fun doing that (With the exception of snipers). Now, about the campaign, yeah, they could definitely could´ve done a better job, I hope they learn and make a great halo 6 campaign.
All tese posts are just making fun of OP’s spelling…
I LOVE IT
In all seriousness though, the actual campaign came off as mediocre to me. This is one of the rare stories in a game that had me going “Um…what?” at some of the plotlines, specifically Cortana’s pointless and cliche revival. There was still a decent amount to enjoy about the game, and I love both the music and the whole “team aspect” it has, but ultimately the story just didn’t hit its mark.
If I had to give it a rating, I’d say around 6/10 for the campaign alone.
Yeah, Locke just talked about how he wanted to capture the Master Chief, while the rest of Osiris nodded, with deadpan eyes.
Funniest thing about that camping trip, Chief was darting in between the trees the whole time. Locke came close to noticing him once, but Chief remained as elusive as Bigfoot.
As for the campaign:
Awful. So bad, I just couldn’t bring myself to finish it.
Overall, I think the campaign was fun. Not the greatest but probably the most fun. Only 2 that were more fun for me was 3 and reach. Though h2 is my favorite.
looking at it isolated by itself, it has its flaws for sure. Wish was a more even split between Osiris and blue team. While I did actually like osiris(read, I -Yoinking!- loved buck, the other 3 seemed to play off him to me) but I just wished we had maybe 2 more levels with cheif. I dont See why people say blue team had low dynamic. Given the lore, makes sense that they are rather stoic. I liked that though because it contrasted the Spartan 2s with the Spartan 4s.
The whole cortana thing. Well by itself I’m a tad confused on the direction, but with halo 4 in the mix and her whole “rampancy” thing (in quotes duebto the 2 theories she can’t can’ go through rampancy, and the other she’sinfected with the logic plague) makes her whole thing make more sense. I’ll wait to see how it plays out in h6 though.
Gameplay wise, it’ one of the best though.
One thing that saves the campaign is how good it looks on the one X
Blue Team. End of story.
Halo V campaign in a nutshell: Needs more Buck
