What do you really want in this Game?

There is so many things I want to see and hopefully what you want to see in Halo Xbox One.

1.The return of the ODSTs

2.The ability to change weather, add AI, have a possible open world forge map/maps, more items and map or game changing abilities than no other.

3.Unlocking Armor through achievements or “credits” instead of medals (IMO)

4.Longer campaign

5.Load out changes and weapon balancing

6.A beta

7.Return of dual wielding

8.Stronger vehicle health (technically like the old days)

9.Of course return of weapon and armor skins (I liked the skins IMO)

10.A much more competitive and more fair rank up system

11.Bigger maps

12.The return of the Arbiter in campaign

13.Emotion in campaign to be so heart wrenching it could make even the manliest of all men cry.

14.A VERY emotional mission that involves rescuing Halsey.

15.Everyone to enjoy the game and be satisfied with it.

A functional skill-based ranking system that allows you to view your rank in-game and makes it easily visible to other players.

They can make the game just as bad as Default Halo 4 and Reach and I’ll still play it if it has a worthwhile ranking system.

Dual-Wielding, a Health-Bar, a bigger & longer Campaign
(More Levels, more Cutscenes, more Enemies, more Everything)

and, of course, the return of that “Monk-Choir” as the Halo-Theme.

I’m going to highlight my favorites here:

Number 15 is impossible. People won’t be happy with the game until the next one is released and they all suddenly change their tune and say “Remember how great HaloX was?”

Agreed, now just one question. Health bar as in like 1 and reach’s?

What I really want is for this game to be popular so I can actually have groups of people I can play with online that aren’t spending 80 percent of their time on Netflix, Minecraft, or Black Ops 2.
I miss accidentally bumping into like 12 people in BTB with mics and then somehow we’re all friends and up at 4 in the morning playing Customs or destroying people in matchmaking.

Honestly I could care less what’s in the game itself, I just want to see Halo go back to how good it used to be or at least make it relevant again.

True, True.

Like the good old days. That will greatly be missed and which can hopefully return IF we CAN make it happen.

I like this idea. We’ve always had health hit points in all the games, but its only been represented in the first and Reach. Bring it back I say, just having that info adds another layer of depth to the gameplay.

And more tactical or I guess more cautious approaches in both campaign and multiplayer.

A LONG, satisfying, emotionally fulfilling NON GRIMDARK FOR THE SAKE OF MATURITY/ART campaign

that is all

I’ve said this so many times before but all i want from the next halo is a halo game for the modern age not a shooter for the modern age. What i mean by this is don’t implement things that deviate from core halo ideals. Halo 4 felt like such a Call of Duty copy and i understand why. Call of duty is the biggest annual franchise making billions each year but their ideas don’t fit in halo. It’s like comparing Futsal and Football, they are very similar but you can’t implement football tactics into futsal. Halo needs to return to what makes it great and build upon it in a natural why not changing everything in one go.

As much as I would like to see the ODSTs return, I don’t think they will, the ODSTs became spartan IVs I believe (correct me if I’m wrong). But it would be pretty awesome to see some rogue ODSTs fighting for what they believe in, in a jungle somewhere, kinda like guerrilla warfare and the Chief decides to help them or something like that.
Changing weather in forge maps would be amazing! It would be so cool to 1v1 someone when it’s snowing or raining and add in a few AI team mates and enemies to sneak up on would be an extremely nice feature.
I didn’t really mind unlocking armour pieces through commendations, especially the harder ones, it really felt like you earned that armour. But I can see why purchasing aromour pieces through credits that you’ve earned would be a highly requested feature, it keeps the player coming back and gives him/her something to work towards.
I have a pretty good feeling that halo on the Xbox one will have the right sized campaign, now that 343 have learnt what the community wants and no that they aren’t as rushed as they were for halo 4’s release date.
I think load outs will be seen in most, if not all future halo titles because they offer another customization option and makes the player feel like they play as any role they want. As for weapon balancing, I think after the title update for halo 4, the weapons were balanced perfectly, but that’s not to say there were still too many one shot kill weapons.
As much as I would like to see a beta for halo Xbox one, I highly doubt there will be one, it would be too much of a waste of resources, time and money and if there was going to be one, I think 343 would have announced it by now.
Return of dual wielding is a touch and go sort of feature, if you get it right it makes the game incredibly fun and interesting by mixing two completely different weapons together and seeing what you get. But if dual wielding was a feature in the campaign then it would have to be in the multiplayer otherwise the fans would not be happy at all, and dual wielding weapons would take a long time to balance in comparison to other weapons. 343 would have to give the player a reason to want to dual wield so that the two weapons could get kills, but they would have to make the player not always want to dual wield otherwise having two guns would make using only one redundant.
I think the armour on the vehicles was good in halo 4, the only problem with it was how you could completely destroy a warthog right off your spawn, I speak of the infamous plasma pistol/sticky grenade combo. If 343 were to take out these two weapons from load outs, vehicular combat would be much more fun and exciting.
I too would like to see armour skins back, they add another level of customization to the game, perhaps they could be an unlock-able item in matchmaking like armour pieces?
A more competitive ranking system like halo 3’s and 2’s would be very nice to see, it actually makes the player feel like they have accomplished something, in saying this, I would also like to see the skill gap in halo Xbox one increased so when the bad players start to get better, they know it and feel proud of it.
I think the maps were a good size in halo 4, it’s just that default sprint made the larger maps easier to cover. If 343 take out default sprint in the next halo then there won’t be a need for bigger maps.
I think everyone wants to see the arbiter, but I don’t want to see him if 343 are just putting him in there to please fans, I think he needs to play a big part in the campaign in order for him to be in there.
I felt as though the emotion in halo 4’s campaign was done really well, it captured the feelings of John as his beloved AI companion, that had gone through so much with him, was inevitably taken away from him, and the way Cortana died seemed fitting, her last action was helping John, just like she always did. In fact I think the campaign focused almost too much on the emotional side, and not enough on the action side, but that’s just me.
I think no matter how good 343 make their game, people will always have problems with it.
Thanks for reading this post and remember, all of what I have said is just my opinion and is open to discussion

In Halo 4, besides choosing to start with the carbine, This is not how I feel. It is not how many feel. many of the perks are what were once base player traits, so if anything, I am LESS prepared for fighting than before, logic.

Halo 5 should be classic based, not copied, by which I mean, we can choose what Weapons and 1 grenade of any type

Primaries:
AR
BR
CC
SR

Secondaries:
Magnum
Needle Pistol (Pistol Variant of the Needle Rifle, both it and the PP are in the game)
SMG (Preferably the ODST one aswell, even if it is just a skin)
Plasma Rifle

Grenade x1:
Frags (Leave as is)
Plasmas (Have to travel a certain distance before being sticky)
Pulses (Get buffed a bit)

There, Classic like, and balanced, that is all we need.

No sprint, No AAs, No perks, no BS, just Halo with weapon choice, that all players have access to at any time, you have to unlock skins, not weapons.

I really want Bill Nye to be in this new halo

I want more of the same.

I want about 1,000 hours of matchmaking enjoyment. The rest is up for interpretation.

A good, solid story, which addresses all areas of the story elements involved (e.g. explains everything right from the get-go, and leaves no room for any sort of confusion), and does not contradict itself, or cause any sort of inconsistencies, like the Halo 4 Prologue cutscene, for example. Additionally, i would like outstanding music that flows with the theme of the game (yes, i would also like the chanting monks to return).

I would love a longer campaign mode and it would be amazing if they were to include the flood because that was one of my favourite bits! I would love it if they brought the Revenant back. The camos were awesome so i would love it if theyy brought those back too.

What I want in the next title:

-Aside from SpOps, I want to see Firefight come back

-Falcon, Hornet, Revenant, & Prowler

-Master Chief’s E3 cloak, and the Katana from Halo 3

-Bigger Forge Maps (Basically 5 environmental maps, only as big as Forge World itself)

-Brutes return as part of the Storm Covenants

-Option to play as our Spartans, instead of the Master Chief

-Music from the original trilogy

-Spiker, Brute Shot, Grenade Launcher, SMG (Standard & Silenced), Plasma Rifle (Standard & RED skin), & Plasma Launcher

-Some classic maps from Halo CE/CEA, Halo 2, Halo 3, and Halo Reach

-Theater compatible with Campaign, SpOps, MM (WG/WGC), Firefight, Forge
