Halo 4 will come out; and: there will come trailers, too.
So my question:
What do you not want to know before you play Halo 4 yourself?
What should not be shown in a trailer?
What should not be released in an interview?
What should be keepen as a top secret by 343i before the release of Halo 4?

I think now on the poor guys of 343i. Because they will never be able to play Halo 4 as we do. Because they have to know all things and secrets.

If Halo rings are involved, do not tell me.
If flood are involved, do not tell me.
If Precursers are involved, do not tell me.
If Covenant are involved, do not tell me.
I already expect forerunners to be involved, but basically I want to be surprised by which factions and races are in Halo 4. The marketing/trailers should just focus on the environment, chief, cortana, and the forerunners. I want as much of the game as possible to be fresh when I first play it, so it will feel more like Halo 1 did the first time.

I dont want ANY Gameplay PERIOD. Create a new level and use it for Demos, but do not show any actual levels or cutscenes that are in the game. This was another major problem with Reach, we knew too many levels and cutscenes going into the game. It wasn’t a surprise when we actually did those in game.
Another thing is the Trailers, We need to go back to LiveAction/CGI/FakeCutscene trailers. Like the ones in Halo 2 and 3 where the only part from the game they had was the multiplayer, forge, and theatre. And for the Campaign part they showed the Master Chief travelling through the desert.

as much as im itching and yearning for more info on Halo 4, in a way, i dont want to know anything about the story. i want it all to roll out in front of me as a suprise.
I don’t want any plot details. Maybe few to know at least something about the story, but if there is something like the space combat section of Reach, I’d rather be amazed and not know it beforehand. I also don’t want to see commented gameplay videos of half of the campaign missions.
