Personally, I hope they (343) keep the assassinations from Reach. There is something immensely satisfying about taking your enemy by surprise then stabbing a great big whopping knife through his head. Maybe some new grenades too.
Assassinations are back, for sure. I also heard that there will be 4 types of grenades, but I’m not sure where I heard that from.

It is hilarious to assassinate somebody that is sniping and invisible so I am glad assassinations are back.
I honestly hope to see most of the weapons and vehicles from the series make a return, as well as most of the species. I wouldnt mind seeing a updated version of the Brute which im sure would look extremely creepy due to the new engine. My biggest want and hope though is that will actually see some of the other spartans from the novels this time around :).
The elites already look creepier and I can’t imagine how ugly a brute would look.

What I hope for has already been confirmed to be cut without good reason. Even dual wielding, which I can’t even begin to understand.

@SilentRaine True about the weapons, but I reckon the assault rifle needs a major upgrade, not nearly powerful enough for me. takes too long to kill all but a single enemy before you go down.
In gameinformer the multiplayer HUD picture has a frag grenade with three more symbols next to it so it looked like 4 grenade types.

Im hoping that the Objective Playlist will have a higher population! Though i can still find games i feel like everyone just wants to play flag on asylum. I dont get King of the hill or oddball that much anymore strangely.
I want the redesigned DMR to be well, redesigned. I saw something resembling it in my Gameinformer which came in the mail, and either it’s a beta or a horrible redesign. I would scan the page, but fourm rules are my master.
Anyways, I’d like to see a better Frag Grenade. In Reach, it had good AoE, but I remeber some horrible moments in Long Night of Solace where my grenade bounced off an Elite in the Engineer Room. I’d like it to be more stable.
I’d really love some incarnation of the Focus Rifle in there. And, please, buff it. The only people who could use it good were the Jackal Snipers in Firefight, and god, I hate those things. Alot.
