shoot i accidentally posted it and it wasn’t finished blah just say what you’d like in the new forge world. If you didn’t know or didn’t see the maps from the beta Pegasus and Orion were on a type of forge world so don’t go saying there is no forge world cause they haven’t announced it or anything like that
heres the full list i meant to have
- Day and night cycle without the use of forge fxs - Destructive Environments like you can blow holes in stuff to add some battleground feel to the map - A map terrain option in lobby to change it to a snowy, desert or stormy map - tidle waves going into the map - destructive forge pieces to blow open or knock down - be able to go under water and live and make a map under water - go into space and make a space battle map - be able to delete the terrain and place your own terrain for your map but not to delete the background terrain such as the mountains
Destructive pieces of the map itself is an interesting idea though I doubt many people would build their maps around it.
Destructive forge pieces could work but would likely feel a bit cheesy (since making them break apart into new pieces or giving them destruction animations could lead to complications).
Day/Night and Terrain Style are good ideas.
Space would likely require a different map altogether. Underwater could work but would also be better off done on its own map.
Having the terrain divided into chunks that you can delete and place is just unfeasible.
I hope they include all the weapon skins that affect gameplay in forge so that you can tweak the weapon layouts in gamemodes outside of Warzone. I’m glad that skins don’t affect gameplay in Arena, but it would be cool to be able to add different weapon types of weapon spawns for all sorts of gametypes.

- Saving welded structures. Sometimes you want to re-use a structure you made.

AI Bots, now they don’t have to be that complicated, but at least place them and have them engage the enemy that’s in range, so maybe a range engagement thingy, and maybe a walking path.
Requisition weapons.
Smaller objects and scenery.
More scripted objects, think bridges and so on.

For the love of God, GIVE US AI. Ever since Halo 3 I’ve dreamt of making my own little campaign missions. If they give us that, I may not even buy other games coming out this fall as I’ll be spending all my time forging.
Multi selection would be a god send, but realistically all I want is;
the option of dynamic lighting, it looks good sure but it makes forging clunky and ends up giving long load times. I would rather have it be a button in the pause menu then to have it done by it self.
Covenet blocks and props.
Dead bodies.
Sea level settings would be nice.
Time of day.
Physics objects.
static props (like broken vehicles and such)
civilian vehicles
Terrian settings (sand, water, snow)
Weather effects
A way to save objects (Let’s say I build a base. Then I select all of the objects and can place that base on any forge map via a saved DUPES menu.)
AI turrets (they were in halo 4, so it shouldn’t be an issue)
I doubt we will ever see “real” AI in forge do to the pathing nodes that need to be placed for the ai to function. We would need an actual map maker akin to timesplitters or the upcoming DOOM.

hmm you have good ideas and 343 if you see this thread please add more stuff for us forgers and remove the Generating lighting loading screen when we get out of forge mode its really annoying
