So far, the only thing that we know about it is that it can take down all air vehicles. There is also an Ultra-Rare Variant of it. I think it will be some sort support weapon.

A Sword Needler turret would be dope but how could it take down Phaetons and Banshees so fast? On the Sword Needler Warthog it takes 3+ super combines to kill a Phaeton.
It will be a weapon you can tote around much like the bubble shield in Halo 3, but when you throw it out WHAM it’s a Falcon.
I really want it to be the Grenade Launcher. It’s highly requested and it can drop air vehicles like flies with the EMP. That beauty would get me to play a lot more…

My guess is it’s a needler type weapon. When I think anti-air weapons, I think the Covenant Vampire which was sporting a huge needler itself.
I am sad that it’s not the Plasma Launcher from Reach, but oh well.

Well I know of the new pistol, but what if there is an actual new weapon that hasn’t been revealed yet? If so, I have some theories on that:
If it’s anti-air: Grenade Launcher, has to be, great for taking down wayward Banshees.
If it’s Anti-Vehicle: I’d think maybe something along the lines of a Focus Rifle or Sentinel Beam, they did substantial damage to vehicles when in the hands of a pro.
If it’s Anti-player: Brute Shot, nothing is more anti-player than the Brute shot as it doubles as a melee weapon, making it useful when it’s out of ammo.

And a Haunter (Banshee)
If we get a plasma launcher, chances are we’ll get a grenade launcher as well. Grenade launcher was a beast in the right hands in Halo Reach.
