I think they did a great job, 343i will get my money for Halo 4, Legendary edition if there is one.
Only gripes are the cutscene graphics and the dumb AI, but it sticks true to the original and the graphics are great for an HD remake.
Also, the Achievement ‘Bounty Hunter’ for Reach, which is ‘Get 10 skulls at once in Headhunter’, is that a Skullmanjaro? If so, I really will have to boost this… like I did with You Ate All The Chips! Everything else I’ll get eventually.

I have not put my disc in the tray yet as I was waiting for my dad to finish something in reach so we can online co-op, but I got bored and looked at the booklet inside.

They can’t just give us our default controls again? they have to screw them by mixing in reach junk controls.
I got used to halo 3 and odst controls, which was enough. But now this? Almost makes me fear whats instore for Halo 4 controls.

There are multiple control schemes. In fact, there is one called Recon, which is pretty much exactly the same as Halo 3/ODST. It’s what I’m using. RB is reload, X is swap grenades and LB is flashlight.
Also, you shouldn’t get mad at the controls. They’re exactly the same as they were on the original xbox, with the bumpers replacing the white and black buttons, since they’re not there anymore.
I don’t like when people throw around “HD remake” CEA is nothing like the “HD remakes” that have been coming out and it shouldn’t be categorized with them.
On topic: I have played CE I don’t know how many times over the past 10 years, CE:A feels like a fresh new game, I love it.(I don’t agree with some of the aesthetic choices though)
and to the guy complaining about controls, did you bother looking in the controls menu and changing it? Try using “The Duke”
