Personally, I would like sprint to be a default action, seeing as how spartans can run extremely fast (around 50 mph or more in the books) so I don’t see why they shouldn’t be able too in game.
I think think jetpack and armor lock should go.
Camo and overshield as pick ups or something because it was always fun battling over them.
Sprint should be default but all other AA’s should be scraped and we need to bring back equipment and power ups placed on the maps so we can fight over something else other than guns and vehicals.
Melee should be 3 hits to remove shields, then 1 to kill, and it should have no auto-aim and slightly less lunge. I’ve been wanting this since Halo 3, but it’s even more important now as this would remove the sprint-melee problem. I have nothing wrong with Sprint besides this, so it can stay, though there should be a custom option in which you get knocked out of Sprint if you’re shot while Sprinting, meter drained so you can’t just activate it again and have to turn and fight.
Armour Lock can get out. End of story.
Evade can stay and, along with Sprint and whatever other movement AAs 343 come up with, should be the only off-spawn AA choices.

Good point however do you think 4 hits is a little excessive? what do you think of 3?
I love evade if they don’t have sprint they should at least have evade.

Admitted, 4 hits might be too much. I was worried about making sure the melee fighter would never win, but if 343 decrease Halo 4’s killtimes just slightly from Reach’s (which are the longest in the series so far) 3 would probably be enough to ensure the shooter wins anyway.
Plus Armour Lock is the one thing everybody agrees needs to go, I can’t see 343 doing anything but ditching it.

…in the beginning (reach beta), I immediately raved AGAINST Armor Lock & Active Cammo being loadouts…and was intrigued by jetpack and ACTUALLY GREW USED TO SPRINT.
…FAIL…FAIL…FAIL…
…as it turns out, ALL of the AA’s ruin Halo. also the whole loadout process is GLITCHY which I CANNOT stand.
…after playing tons of Reach trying to ‘believe’ it could all work and ALWAYS ending up frustrated, I was watching MLG providence championships and noticed how strange it was to see SO MANY SPARTANS SPRINTING around the maps, hiding, looking like SO MANY SCARED MICE with a hungry cat in the room…
…This has led me back to my root belief that Halo rewards skill and makes you EARN what you get. Be it skill, AA etc…
There is a thousand reasons for why sprint not should be in the game, but there is no reason for why it should be in the game - gameplay wise. I have stated this so many times, i am not going to do it this time. If you want reasoning go to the MLG forums. If sprint is in Halo 4 im going to rage.

I’m not going to rage, I’m simply not going to play it.
No Sprint and no AA’s, maybe a jetpack equipment pick up with very limited fuel/use.
Bring back equipment, BTB was so funny with power drains and grav lifts and trip mines, and I don’t mean for competitive play though I have no issues with a well placed regen/power drain on a couple of maps if they do return.
