Good or Not good what should change ?
My personal opinion is pretty mixed. I’m not fond of Micro-transactions as a concept, but there have only been a handful of matches in halo 5 that I’ve felt I was at a disadvantage because of my refusal to pay actual money for req packs. If I had to sum it up, I would say its a bad thing, but it has been implemented in the least harmful way it could have been.
As for changes? Well the warthogs come to mind. I have a half-dozen warthogs that play exactly the same, but have different skins. Why can’t the skins, be similar to the weapon skins and then I just have three warthogs to choose from Reg, Oni, and Corps.
Remove the micro-transactions, lower the in-game price, and give permanent unlocks their own pack, and it would be great! Otherwise though, MICRO-TRANSACTIONS ARE THE SPAWN OF HELL!!! (Takes tranquilizers) Yeah micro-paying sucks…
i’ll be glad when this silly fad on req systems and micro transaction go away like the dodo bird.
I can understand the concern of the micro transaction element of it, although 343 has stayed true to their word up until this point about the optional nature of purchasing REQ packs. Personally, I love the system. 343 wanted the system to mimic a TCG/CCG booster pack feel, and that’s exactly what I feel every time I get a Gold pack.
I don’t think it was smart for 343 to go all in with armor/helmet unlocks through the REQ system, and the Achilles armor is definitely a correction in the other direction, but overall I enjoy the system. As long as 343 keeps the micro transactions optional, I will be a supporter.
I’m glad that all of the options are open to in-game currency and you don’t actually have to spend $$$ on them.
I still wish that some unlocks were done through achievements / commendations / Franchise commitment.
I love it. Being able to use power weapons in these huge battles is pretty great to me. Its kind of what I’ve always wanted from Halo.

Overall I think its great. I see no problem with the micro-transactions because all items can be earned through normal play. If you want to pay money to get it faster great that’s your decision. The req system has been a effective way to keep me interested in the game. The only part that gets a little annoying is the sheer amount of pointless warthog / mongoose variants. Many do the same thing and there is no need to have so many. A simple defualt, oni, and maybe one other would suffice.
I like it …i just wish I could certify in things like whispered truth and nor fang …
A DMR wouldn’t hurt either…I can’t seem to get one…

It is evil and should revert back to Halo reach or halo 4’s way of unlocking.
Its ok by me to grind thought the games to collect REQ point, for those would do not have the time to use cash to collect the REQ packs. But to me its still a way for 343i to get money. For the updates. Just wish there was a way to get what I want to get, rather than having a random chance to get it.
It’s not pay to win, so I’m all for it.
