What do you get with buying the main game?

Have a very general question. The campaign and the multiplayer are separate correct? Is the multiplayer set up like all the fortnight and stuff like that games with loot boxes and an battle pass thing? If I buy base game do I get a battle pass free for life of game or only the campaign? Do I have to continuously renew the battle pass or is there a way to earn it in game?

Are you serious OK you seriously this is the master two full camping stories it’s amazing

As far as we know there is no direct correlation between the two. There will be MP unlocks you can find throughout the campaign, but as far as free BPs goes, those are rumors at best. There’s been no official confirmation or denial.

As far as the game pass goes, it gets you the campaign for free, that’s about it. So you’ll continually have to repurchase the BP. They are however introducing a new feature to game pass much like Amazon prime looting where subscribers get free stuff for select games. So the first run of that gets us an AR skin and some boosts/swaps.

not saying campaign isn’t good. More thinking that if I’m spending 60-70 dollars on a game it should come with multiplayer and I shouldn’t have to be spending additional money to unlock things in the multiplayer. I don’t play these free to play games with battle passes and junk because I find them a waste of money. A gigantic studio that is separating the two and charging me extra for multiplayer is wrong. I don’t mind paying for DLC content like maps but for cosmetics and exp gain thats just wrong.

We get nothing and if you’re on PC you don’t even get the Pre Order Bonuses that the Xbox does from retailers.

Do you think this about The Last of Us? Spider-man PS4? The Witcher? Skyrim? Etc etc

Legit question. What do we get for x amount of dollars? How long will it take to complete campaign? Is it replayable like most open world games? Will there be a DLC? 343 will rake in the money for sure from campaign and people are spending and spending on Halo Infinite MP cosmetics. The company is getting their revenue from two sources. What do we get? Hopefully, an epic gaming experience that makes spending our money on it worthwhile.

Didn’t have any of those stopped playing COD due to battle pass type system just made it no fun to play. I’ve been around since Halo 2. Love the halo series have had a lot of good memories on it. Didn’t mind buying ODST which was essentially just a campaign but came with all multiplayer maps that were on Halo 3. The subscription for Elder Scrolls Online gives you access to a bag amongst all your characters, gives you all maps (DLC), and gives you exp boost for all characters. This battle pass is just like the COD one and all other ones. Just feels like a cash grab and want to get clear answer to what I get with campaign purchase and how the battle pass system works in terms of renewing it or it its a one time buy.
