Halo 5 has told to be the darkest of all Halo’s and there is so much that can be done on the next generation of the xbox. Graphics, AI, mission scale/size, content, length, everything has an opprotunityto achieve something.
Things like:
Graphics: explosions, water effects, ground phyisics, even better lighting to create a deeper atmosphere
Gameplay: Large scale battles, more enemies on the field, Smarter AI, bigger secenery, multiple things happening at the same time.
Things like that have me excited. What do you think Halo 5 should excell in. Be specific.
Don’t care about graphics, what I want is the story to be the best one ever.
I have loved every single story in each new Halo, and it always beats the past Halo. I am hoping Halo 5 will beat Halo 4’s story and tear it to shreds!
I hope the forge pieces are reimagined and redone. More minecraft style would be better. Blocks of all different shapes and sizes instead of unwieldy bizarre pre-set pieces would be better.

Everything you listed sounds amazing. I think it would be great if they could make the game so versatile that it pleases not only one community of fans but all of them.
custom mission maker (place and edit AI and enemies as well as allies, incorporate objectives, etc.)
a big, empty, flat map in which you can completely control and edit the terrain and add in and edit a lot of different objects
the ability to include AI in multiplayer maps you make (like a Team Slayer map that has a few Hunters in the middle that you can release or just a very hostile environment for CTF games)
Forge should be upgraded to the point where any player could make a map as good-looking and usable as the default included ones
bigger and longer campaign than ever before
I loved doing all the various “get out of the map” glitches in Halo 3; bring those back (they should just be a feature at this point, they’re so much fun)
have epic, large-scale battles
have those epic, large-scale battles have multiple layers to them (less linear objectives where you can be doing one thing while others are doing something else)
give us some tactical control over units
improve both ally and enemy AI
more customization and options
seriously, the more the fanbase can mess with stuff the longer the game will last and the more people will enjoy it (look at Minecraft and all its mods as a perfect example)
The campaign just like in Halo 4 should be amazing however be longer. If they continue the way they have with Halo 4 multiplayer, the numbers will dwindle even more.
