What do YOU do?

What do you do when you just start sucking in multiplayer? Whether it be your fault or the game’s fault or whatever. Do you take a break? Do you rage quit? Do you press on and hope for better matches?

I go play Halo 3 because it’s easier

I usually just press on and hope for better matches because I know I’m better than how I play sometimes.

I press on. Then I rage quit after going 0-10 and go play a playlist where I’m NOT going to get matched with CSR 50’s while I have CSR 36.

This happened today:

I shout curses to 343i for condemning me to Halo torment.

I go cry in a corner

I spawnkill in Grifball.

If it’s CTF, I rage quit. I hate CTF.
Otherwise, I’ll just go build a map in Forge or play some other game.

Of course, that’s probably why I’m not improving.
I hate losing, and if I start losing, it puts me in a bad mood, which makes me play worse, which eventually causes me to stop playing.
I wish I could just enjoy the game like when I was younger.
:frowning:

Press on…if 2 games go on with bad results…no more Halo 4 for the day.

For me, when I start sucking, I sometimes go play minecraft or some other type of game, otherwise I play some spartan ops by myself otherwise I try to go for achievments I’ve missed from previous halo games.

Mostly my problem is having poor teammates. If this happens, I just hop on to FFA. Because if you want it done right you gotta do it yourself.

But yeah, if I start sucking, I either grab some good teammates (or friends) and try again, or I just take a break and hop on my computer and watch funny cat videos.
(Because who doesn’t watch funny cat videos?)

Stop playing for a good while, then try again.

I usually switch to Team Action Sack, since it’s mainly for fun and what not. Takes the edge off losing, in my opinion.

If I do bad in any normal gametype I go smash people in Grifball most of the time. And once in a blue moon when I do bad in Grifball Halo 4 gets riped out of my Xbox and chucked across my room.
Playing Call of Duty helps to because when I think to myself 'Man Halo sucks" when I play CoD I realize that im playing an even worse game and then I go back to Halo. Pop Tarts also make me feel better.

I take a break, when you get frustrated you start to lose your reason while playing.

I throw my controller and accidentally bust a hole in my wall… It’s not that big of a deal…

I watch Netflix and take a break, get some grub and chill out. When I get back to H4 after doing all that I play much better.

I hate quitting games, but I’ll do it if my presence is clearly an aggregate loss to my team, and it’s not getting better. If I’m lagging, or if I’m having a particularly off day, I’ll bow out. It’s still not really cool, but sometimes it’s the best bad choice. In previous games, quitting meant that your team would be outnumbered. In H4, there is at least a chance that someone more competent at that moment can replace you. If you are getting tired or frustrated, then take a break. We all suck some days.
If I still want to play Halo, I tend to go to Reach and play Firefight. Most of the time I can workout my issues there.

Chocolate my babies, CHOCOLATE

I can only concentrate for about 10 games max. after that I become an assist role. die as little as possible whilst helping my teammates.
