Two or more players on your team leave due to frustration, bad connection, life stuff, and etc?
About 20% of the games I play more than one person on my our team just leaves before a quarter of the game is finished. This essentially turns it more into a hunt for your head. Unless you can catch their whole team alone the rest of the match and win those encounters, you lose. Nothing you can do about it. In that kind of situation I’ve just been exiting the game myself if 2 or more players have left already.
We are notified that there are consequences for leaving games unfinished. BUT…
None of us like wasting our time, so are we still being punished if we stay in that kind of game and get slaughtered? Obviously it’s a loss. But how is that on us?
We also like to see a nice k/d when we look at our stats. 4v1 or 4v2 situations in the enemies favor just wreck our k/d. Personally I don’t want my k/d ruined anymore than it already is for having to stay in those kinds of games.
Does anyone know of any behind the scenes magic happening to ensure we are being punished less for leaving games when half the team has left already?
