So I was just playing some team doubles solo queue to get my placement. Right now I think I’m headed towards a solid diamond, until this game. The final score was 22-25 against two decent players, me ending with 21 kills and 12 deaths.
My team mate on the other hand was 4-16, half of his kills being upon me. He would damage me to de-shield me and then make me an easy target for an enemy to head shot, without technically betraying me. He would also shoot me after the opposition had damaged me so as I would die at what again was technically the opponents hand. I had no idea what to do. I ran away from him for most of the game, forcing me to play extremely aggressively and stupidly. Honestly I think a perfection was in the cards until he betrayed me.
What would you guys of done in my situation? Would you have quit, or done the same back, or kept on trying to play as I did?

There is, but the banning system isn’t quite the same as it is for comms. If you send a hateful message with swearing you will get a comm ban, but if you cheat it takes more than one occasion.

Blocking only blocks comms and means they cannot see your profile. You can still get matched with them.
Fix the title of the thread. Yea I would’ve have been mad, but wouldn’t have cared. To be honest, him trolling like that just shows he isn’t a good player and he enjoys wrecking the fun of others just for a little personal entertainment which is quite sad. You blocking/reporting him shows you are the more mature one. Also remove his name as it is against waypoint forums to call out.
Well we all already know that the Halo community is horrible (Not as bad as COD), and reporting is not exactly the best option because sometimes it takes a few of those for them to actually take effect…
SO I would say either just go on a new lobby, or if that doesnt work…be the better troller.
Just report him and move on. If enough people report him his reputation would go into the red.
Looking at the guy’s stats and history, it’s obvious that he does this to lots more people. Hopefully more will report him and he won’t be able to find matches.
I did this to someone before who trolled me by doing basically and also just random spartan charging me out of cover while trying to get my shields recharged the same thing I decided that I would follow him around through his games and each time he tried to troll in slayer etc. I would spartan charge him out of the way and usually I tried to hit him in a hole like if we were on regret I would try to hit him down one of the holes at spawn or off of platforms so I did that for a game and he thats how I did it. Also you can do the usually and give him a good ole report and hope he gets the banhammer

They need a better system where accounts can get banned from matchmaking temporarily, and they have to make it so that people can’t just use smurf accounts to troll. Once that account gets banned they just delete it and create a new smurf… Maybe if they made it a temp ban for whatever xbox the user was using at the time?

I agree, all I’m saying is blocking them does nothing except stop you getting messaged, you’re better to file an unsporting complaint with betrayers.
