because halo 4 is right around the corner i ask the question when you get the game do you play the campaign first or multiplier if campaign do you play lone wolf or with your buds?
forge, to test out the new tools, and vehicles and weapons, as well as, just to fool around a little
Heroic campaign solo first. Its kind of a tradition of mine for every new halo game =)
I’ll explore the menu’s and stuff first. Then I’ll hop into campaign on Normal(Do Legendary Solo at a later date), once I go half way threw the campaign I’ll play Multiplayer.
Campaign on Normal first. I might play some multiplayer before I’m done, though. It depends on if any of my friends want to play.

Customs to get feel of maps and test kill times. Then straight into MP.
solo campaign on normal first of course. then forge a map on impact. then multiplayer.
legendary co-op
Great, I’m the only one playing co-op. At least i’ll be playing on legendary.
Edit: great, someone beat me to it!
These are my exact plans for Halo 4 when I get my hands on it.
- Go to midnight release, get it
- Stay up the rest of the night and play multiplayer til I want to sleep.
- Beat campaign on normal
- Do a mix of spartan ops and multiplayer.
I’ll use the Forge first…
Lone Wolf Campaign on Heroic, broken up by occasional War Games matches. Got to get the Spartan Rank up.
Legendary campaign right out of the box. No multiplayer until the campaign is finished to keep people from ruining it. Happened during halo 2, won’t happen again.
Lone wolf Campaign on Normal. Gets me familiar with the new mechanics, and doesn’t make me secretly resent my friends because they’re going either too fast or too slow.
er, I, uh, I, uh, um…
brain explodes
A lot of my friends are going to midnight releases (I am too). We are all going to play it solo on heroic. I played Reach coop first and it wasn’t as fun (though I don’t think the campaign was that good anyway, so I might do it coop. Then I’m doing Spartan ops to get all of the story out of the way. By then I should have a good feel for the weapons, then I’ll hit up matchmaking.
Because of timing, I will probably start the campaign solo first, until my friends get online, then co-op. Multiplayer last.
1. Campaign (solo/normal)
2. War games- Infinity Slayer. (Play a few matches and some other playlists)
3. Sparten Ops (maybe with friends)
4. Forge- try and build my own version of Lockout
Repeat the process until November 2015 (assuming 3 years till halo 5)
The first thing that I’ll probably do is go through all of the options and personalize my spartan… Then play the campaign…
Definitely Campaign. Just a silver account for now, so multiplayer will have to wait awhile. Which is fine.
