Hey everyone, I just wanted to hear your opinions on this topic. What I mean by end game armor is a certain armor set that is the culmination of your hard work. For Halo 3 it was pretty much the katana body piece and the recon armor, and for Reach it was the Haunted helmet. What do you think is the “end game” armor for Halo 4?
Not sure really.
A lot of the armours at the bottom of the list have different requirements to unlock them.
Maybe the end game armour will be another DLC variant?
In Halo 4, there are many different armor that can end up being “end-game” outside of the Specialization armors since they all take longer than. the ranks themselves.
To me, I’m looking at objective gametypes and weapon specific commendations that reward armor to be my end-game since I am not making progress on them when compared to Slayer.
If by “end game” you mean “the last unlock you’ll ever get,” probably Protector DRFT, unlocked with the Weapon Mastery commendation. Good luck with those Plasma Pistol kills.

Definitely Protector DRFT, but it would of been nice for there to be an armor unlocked from total Commendation Mastery.
GUNGNIR is defo end game armor. 17 away

I’d say Forerunner Destroyer for the Vanguard… So very few people have the armor, and it’s a pain in the -Yoink- to earn.

Really? Try Oddball mastery without Team Objective. Good luck.

Seriously though lay off the MMO’s.
There is no “end game” armor in halo, I use the Mark IV armor for posterity.
Scout Apex(Oddball mastery) for me, I’ve already gotten it and I worked hard to get it, Although it’s not the last thing I will unlock, it’s the one I will stick with.
I was thinking maybe a mix though, I was going to work on KOTH mastery to get my shoulders.

All those armors, whch are difficult to unlock and/or take a lot of time, because the commendations are hard and/or time-comsuming, count for me as “end-game”.
So that means for me: the weapon mastery, the vehicle mastery, all [gametype] victory masters, Forerunner and Covenant Destroyer, and the Raider DSTT (1000 Matchmaking games). Hope I did not forget anything.
i think we can say that theres no real end game armour because someone can manage it, what i mean by this is that one person might find one commendation easier that others find the hardest and vice versa, so yeah

Halo 4: I’m happy that I can now say ODST and Mk V! 
i dunno why people contemplate over the armor because you cant extinguish one type from the other usually. everything except mv and mark vi and a few others look like robots. thats why they dont have a cod peice.
