What Do You Appreciate About Halo 5?

I keep looking at the forums and just keep seeing whining, complaining, and, in some threads, very convoluted arguments about why Halo 5 is going to be the worst game that 343 has ever done. Now, before the Halo Purist crowd gets on my case, let me say something about reasonable skepticism: Reasonable skepticism is perfectly okay, but when your skepticism turns into theories of everything that’s when you start to become negative; so, please don’t allow your skepticism to close your mind to new things.
Now with that being said, let’s get some positivity going: What are you guys excited or appreciate about Halo 5 so far?

EDIT: Let’s try to get this on the front page as one of the popular topics, but please follow the rules on the forum…no need for this post to get locked.

EDIT 2: You don’t have to list only one thing who appreciate, feel free to list everything you appreciate, love, or are excited about in Halo 5.

Chief’s shade of green is very lovely.

I appreciate all the new things they are adding. I think it will breathe new life into this franchise.

The fact there is arena which appeals to old halo fans and warzone which appeals to the masses.

The Campaign, Warzone, Arena, Forge, the soundtrack, weapon and vehicle variants, etc…
The bottom line is that it’s a fun game. That is what matters the most.

This.

Everything apart from the lack of Ricochet

Ricochet is my baby.

I’m appreciative of how great 343 has been at listening to feedback and building the game around the community. All of the new stuff looks really great, but what makes me happiest is that they are implementing all of these new things while respecting the foundation of Halo (Halo 2 & 3 did this). The hype is real for me.

I appreciate the hard work that 343 has done to make this an incredible game, and I feel that there is something in Halo 5: Guardians for everyone.

The negativity found in these forums can often be attributed to a loud minority of users who are unhappy. While their concerns are occasionally legitimate, it’s important to remember that they do not represent the entire Halo player base, and that there is a large majority of silent happy people who are excited to play this game and are happy with 343.

But we can’t get the color in multiplayer…soo, nah.

I believe that there is something close to it, but it’s no big deal for me…I’ll stick with my Steel and Gold color pattern.

nothing
343 has ruined this franchise and turned it into call of duty clone.
bad game for bad people by bad people

How good the campaign looks, the amount of Armors we get at launch(and all we will get in the future), free DLC maps so everyone can have them and (although i might get some hate for this) being able to obtain really cool armor like Helioskrill from REQ packs.

lol!
Tissue?

I appreciate the sales records Halo 5 will break and the high population it will sustain for years and all the salty tears it conjures from the butthurt.
I’m allowing myself a little schadenfreude. #treatyoself

I appreciate another Halo game perio! Long live Halo!

Diverse selection of playable characters is the thing that resonates with me the most.

Just ignore him. This thread is all about positivity…there’s no need for any one of us who love the game to stoop down to someone else who dislikes the game. Let’s take the high road here.

I adore the fact that Blue Team is finally in the games. I’d say that’s roughly a decade overdue. Thel and Buck’s returns are also very welcome, and I love the effort 343 is making to develop each new character before we ever step into their titanium alloy boots. I’m personally a big fan of Vale.

Gameplay wise, I’d say that this is the first time the Spartans truly feel like super soldiers instead of durable marines. When I look at the gameplay videos, it looks just like how I pictured the SPARTAN-II’s in First Strike and FoR (minus the integrated thruster pack and jet boots, of course). I am very much looking forward to this game!

I love that the campaign has two protagonists like Halo 2, the scale of warzone, and all of the new abilities they’ve added.
